The Rampion Crew and their drink of choice. Coffee or tea edition

Cinder - black coffee. Girly needs the strong stuff to survive throughout the day

Kai - herbal tea. He has odd knowledge of which one can help with whatever you need. Stomachache. Headache. Sore throat. Etc. He’s got it

Cress: sweet latte vibes. But she’d also drink tea. Tbh she’s mostly a hot coco girl

Throne: coffee with literally any whisky inside

Scarlet: straight up coffee so she can run the farm and deal with the stupidly of people

Wolf: eh can go either way. Probably coffee cause Scarlet made it (or tomato juice)

Winter: hmmm…..probably sweet floral teas. Are those a thing? Is lavender tea a thing? Because she’d drink that

Jacin: he survives without caffeine

I refuse to believe the palace staff didn’t make secret bets on when Winter and Jacin would get together. These people watched them play together all the time growning up. Went from “oh look how sweet. Wouldn’t it be cute if they fell in love one day” to “I bet ten univs they’ll be together in ten earth cycles.”

I refuse to believe all the guards were stoic and serious behind closed doors and probably teased this poor man at every chance. Like imagine Jacin going to the canteen or whatever and someone being like “hey Jacin! You with the sweet little princess yet!”

“I saw you and the princess going for a walk in the gardens”

And Jacin’s only reply is “because she wanted to take a walk. It’s a nice day and I’m her guard. Why wouldn’t I be with her?” Eventually he gets fed up and is yelling “can’t you people leave me alone! I’m trying to eat!”

“You can eat and tell us about your garden walk”

I love how Cress got time with each of the guys. Wandered through the desert dehydrated with Throne. Was paired up with Wolf when they crashed the wedding. Her safety was put in the hands of Jacin when she was on Luna. Being so relieved when she sees Kai and just starts crying in his arms because she’s been through a lot.

But the funniest part is how her internal monologue was like “I don’t wanna be paired with Wolf. He’s so scary” then she’s like “I don’t wanna be with Jacin” *hides in corner* and nobody get me stated on how Jacin said “only second to Winter, I promise to protect you” like YESS she’s the Rampion crews baby.

The individual stakes in the Lunar Chronicles are hilarious to me.

Cinder is the missing Lunar princess, and Iko’s her best friend. Kai is an Emperor and being perused by Levena as a political pawn. Wolf is one of Levena’s mind controlled soldiers who was sent after Scarlet, whose grandmother was part of Selene’s rescue team. Winter is Levana’s stepdaughter, and Jacin was raised alongside her and they basically the only family they each have left. Cress is Levena’s secret weapon who has been trying desperately to warn Earth about Levana’s plans, and is the daughter of a rouge Lunar scientist defying Levena.

And then there’s Thorne, who is only nvolved in saving the universe because Cinder took a wrong turn into his cell while trying to escape from prison 😂
