Chapter 2

The hopefully long awaited chapter 2.

Word Count: 1241

Today is the first day, hopefully there aren't any issues. I walk onto campus and immediately I want to leave. There are way too many people here. I put my hood up and my headphones to block out some of my surroundings. I start to make my way to the main classroom. I don’t really understand the educational structure but, whatever. I walk and notice the Mina girl I was talking to after the exam. She saw me and waved me over.

“Hey Y/N! I’m glad we made it into the same class.” She said,

“ I am too. I literally know no one here besides you.” I replied. I mean I should really get to know some of the other people here but, I don’t really want to. They seem occupied nonetheless. 

We started talking for a bit and a couple of other girls came over. They were nice, but maybe a little too nice for my liking. We had to stop talking anyway because the teacher came in, or what I think the teacher is anyway. He crawled in the room in a sleeping bag. I shrug and just listen to get through the first day. 

“My name is Aizawa, I will be your teacher for this year.” He said. After introductions, we had to do a skills test. I got nervous, what if he makes me use the other parts of my quirk. I already noticed that my brother is in the class as well. He’ll realize for sure that it’s me. We constantly trained together before my disappearance. 

Either way I have to do it. The sensei needs to see the full extent of my quirk. I show off my quirk to the best of my ability. Everyone was shocked with the level my quirk was at. I make eye contact with my brother. He doesn’t seem to recognize me but I can see the curiosity there. I was always able to read him like a book. I step off the platform and head inside for some water. As I get close to the fountain I hear someone following me. Curse my damn good hearing. I turn around to see my brother. I don’t think he can tell it’s me still. 

“Can I help you?” I say trying not to sound rude.

“Sorry, uh you just reminded me of someone with that quirk of yours. But now that I’m closer I can tell it's not what I was thinking. Sorry to bother you.” He walks away after saying that.

I feel bad that I can’t reveal my identity to him. I miss him dearly, but I can’t take that chance of being found out. I finish up with what I was doing and head back to where everyone else was. As I get there, I hear Aizawa sensei dismiss the class. I grab my stuff and head out of the campus. I hear someone yelling at me.

“Hey! Loser! Turn around!” 

I do so and come to find out it’s the idiot I ran into on the day of the entrance exam.

“What do you want? I don’t have time for your blank insults.” I say rolling my eyes at him.

“You wanna fucking die today!” He yells. I just roll my eyes again. He’s getting on my nerves at this point. 

“I just want to know why you’re bothering me.” I replied.

“I just wanted to say your quirk sucks ass. It’s going to be so easy to take you down!” He says walking away laughing.

I just roll my eyes again and walk away. He has no idea who he is messing with. Like seriously he has no shame whatsoever and my quirk is 10 times better than his. On my way home, I stopped in at a coffee shop. I ran into my older sister Fuyumi who was also there getting a coffee. 

“Sorry I didn’t mean to knock into you,” I said to her. As soon as she turned around she seemed to recognize me immediately. A look of shock ran over both of our faces and I turned to run off. She catches me right outside the door and drags me out of view.

“Where have you been Y/n! Everyone has been looking for you!” She said

I look down as my body collapses to the ground. This is the last thing I needed today. “I couldn’t take it at that house anymore. I’m sorry Fuyumi. I tried, I really did. Especially for Shoto, but it was all just too much. I’ve been through years of therapists and medication to numb what he has caused.’ I Look up at her ‘Look, I'm sorry that I left all three of you, but I did it for my own sake.” I got up and walked away after I said that.

I walk in the front door of the base and plop down on the couch face first. Toga walks up to me concerned she’s never seen me like this. Nobody has. I always put on a brave front. 

“Are you ok?” She asked

I just shook my head hoping she would take it as a cue to leave me alone for now. She did thankfully. I accidentally fell asleep on the couch afterwards. I got gently woken up by Kurogiri, saying it was time to come eat. I just nod and slowly sit up. I sit down to eat when I find everyone staring at me. I give them a confused and questioning look.

“What? Do I have something on my face?” I asked, wiping my face off. Everyone looks away. I’m left confused but nonetheless I just shake my head and continue eating. I get up to go to my room, and that’s when Dabi comes over to me. He takes my hand and drags me to my room. 

“What’s going on with you Y/N? You’re not usually like this.” I looked away as he said this to me. 

“Between seeing Shoto and Fuyumi again I guess it’s set something off in me. Yes I saw them. Sho didn’t recognize me but Fuyumi did. I tried to run as fast as I could away from her. She grabbed my arm before I could get away though. Dabi.. she knows what happened to me. I can’t go back to where I was, I just can’t.” I said sitting down and curling in on myself. 

He sighed as he sat down next to me. “We'll figure something out. Ok? Don’t give up just yet. I may have a hard exterior around everyone, but we will figure it out.”

I just nod and lay down to sleep. Dabi gets up and leaves while closing my door.

~The next day~ 

I was not looking forward to getting up for school today. Between everything that happened yesterday, I just hope that Fuyumi didn’t tell Shoto that she saw me. 

I sigh as I get up and get dressed. I head downstairs, grab a quick snack and then I am out the door for school. The walk to school was uneventful, but as I stepped into the building I was quickly pulled into an empty room. I yelped in surprise. 

I turned to see who pulled me and it was none other than my twin brother. My eyes widened in shock. I try to pull away from him but he keeps a firm grip on my arms.

Chapter One

This is the tester chapter but also the first official chapter. I'm seeing what works and what doesn't. So with that being said, I hope you enjoy the first chapter. Please feel free to leave positive feedback and/or suggestions of what you want to see happen. Also I know this chapter is super short. Normally I write 1-2 thousand word chapters. But, like i said previously this is a tester chapter.

Y/n’s Pov:

Another day running on missions done. Although I wouldn’t have it any other way, I am exhausted. It’s the same missions too and they are so boring. Shiggy won’t give me anything else though. Dabi doesn’t help either, they are both overprotective as hell. Dabi has his reasons though. I mean he is my oldest brother after all. I’m on the console when said brother walks in.

“Hey, Shig wants you,” he said.

I look at him and shrug, “Ok, i’ll be done in a minute,” I reply.

I walked downstairs to see what he needed. Toga and Twice were nowhere to be found and Kurogiri was behind the bar as usual. 

“You wanted to see me?” I asked once I got closer.

“Yeah, it seems we need someone to go undercover at UA. We need to infiltrate if we are going to get anywhere in our plan.” He said calmly

I nod and say, “Ok when are we doing this? I’m going to need time to prepare.”

“In the next week or so. We really need to start this as soon as possible.”

I just nod again and head back to my room. I needed to get a lot of things in order to pull this off. Luckily, I've been dying my hair like my brother so I don’t look identical to my twin brother. Hopefully he won’t recognize me.

~Time Skip~

It’s now a week later. I have everything I need, I just need to go take the entrance exam for UA. That’s what I am doing today. I spent all last night training. Making sure that my quirk is somewhat under control. I get dressed and then say goodbye to everyone. I started heading out on my way to get to UA. It’s not that far from where the base is actually. I see a few heroes here and there on my way and I try to avoid giving away the salty look I want to give. I never liked heroes. They were all self-centered in my opinion. Ever since my father kicked me out I lost most of my faith in them. But, when they didn't help me when I was kicked out on the street the rest of the faith died out.

Anyways, I finally made my way onto the campus. It was surprisingly big from what I remember. As I'm walking, someone runs into me.

“Get out of the way asshat” he said.

That pissed me off. He was the one that ran into me. “Well if you were watching where you were going you wouldn’t have ran into me asshole” I replied and walked away. I didn’t care about getting his stupid little pathetic comeback. It’s annoying really. People like him always think they are the shit but they actually aren’t. Anyways, I’m just waiting around for the test to start. I’m so bored, like I just want to fight and use my quirk already. 

After another 45 minutes, they finally start the exam. I’m breezing my way through this already. This is so much easier than I thought it was. I’m avoiding using my fire and ice powers though. I don’t want to use them in case someone recognizes them. So, I mainly stick with my earth and Wind elements plus electricity. 

After an hour of battling in the arena, the exam comes to an end. I’m out of breath and energy honestly. That took a lot more energy than I thought it would. I’m laying on the ground outside when a pink haired girl comes up to me. 

“Hi! I’m Mina. I saw you using your quirk out there. It’s really cool!” She says.

I just smile, “Thank you I appreciate that. I don’t get that as much as you think I would. I’m Y/n by the way.” 

“It’s nice to meet you Y/n. I gotta go but hopefully I'll see you around here on campus.” She waves as she walks off. I wave back. She’s actually nice. It feels weird a lot people aren’t that nice to me, my quirk can be very destructive. 

~Timeskip 2 weeks~

I’m just laying on the couch when I get an envelope tossed at me. I looked up to see who it was and it was Dabi. I look at the front of it and see it’s from UA. I quickly open it and a disk falls out. I set the disk on the table and All Might pops up from it. I roll my eyes cause he is one of the heroes I despise the most. Regardless, I listened to what he said and I got accepted. So the official plan starts now. I just have to get everyone to trust me and we should be good.

Intro and Background

So, as you can tell this will be the introduction to the story. It is a x Reader story with Bakugou.

Y/n will be gender-neutral. So you can use whatever pronouns you wish.

Y/n is relate to the Todoroki siblings. You and Shoto are twins.

There will be two quirks. Kind of like Shoto but not really. You have the same ice and fire power but, you also have the other two elements. Don't ask how that's possible lol. I just want it to be.

Y/n is going to be 16 in this. They are very stubborn and has anger issues. They are also a very independent person. They don't like being told what to do.

Background

You're life has been nothing but difficult. First you're older brother touya left and then, a couple years later your dad kicked you out of the house with no warning. He didn't even have a good reason you were just no use to him especially since he had you're twin Shoto. You never hated Shoto. Though some people would if they were in your shoes. So after your dad kicked you out, you ended up living on the streets for a couple months. That's when Shigaraki found you. You were only 7 at the time mind you. So your brain was very gullible. Tomura offered you a place and an opportunity you couldn't refuse. You've been there ever since. You made good friends with Toga and Twice. After your 14th birthday Dabi told you the truth about his identity he couldn't hide it from you anymore. Believe it or not he grew a liking to you after you started living at the base. And that brings us to now. You're now 16 and you had a hatred for the world and people that called themselves heroes.

So that is it for the intro and background. Hopefully this somewhat makes sense of my vision for this story. First chapter should be out in a couple days or so.
