the {warehouse} is a mouthpiece for progressive urban culture, providing content that is relevant (most of the time), provocative (more often than our advertisers would like) and inspirational (if you’re not inspired to write for us by the time you reach the end, you get your money back!). As diverse as the city - Montreal -that gave birth to it, the {w} is anglophone, francophone, allophone, professionalphone, studentphone, progressivephone and, most importantly, megaphone. Our aim: to become an {in}famous media voice and a beacon for y{our} culture. www.thewarehousemagazine.com

Age: Nothing But a Number or Something More: The reason older men chase after younger women has less to do with sex and more to do with insecurity
When I was twenty, I dated a man seven years older than me. He was a PhD student and I was in the second year of my undergrad. He was tall, bright and handsome, and he came from a wealthy and successful family to boot. I was immediately drawn to him for his looks, intelligence, and confidence. For the most part, I was oblivious to his age. For the most part.
But I wasn’t the only one dating an older guy. After taking a class with a youthful professor, a friend of mine started going out with him even though she was still an undergraduate and it was surely against the rules. Girls I knew were hooking up with TAs and profs, and at the bar I worked, men old enough to be my father constantly hit on me. They gave me advice on school, career and love, while simultaneously leering at my cleavage and offering me cocktails. As a rule, I didn’t give out my number but there were other girls who did.
