A lover who’s also your friend. Not somebody that you just lust, because it’s real easy to do that. Somebody that you can connect with intellectually and mentally. No judging. Just being yourself. That’s real beauty.

I used to think it was important to have common interests with the person that you are in a relationship with but now I think it is more important to be similar in other aspects. like how kind you are. how you treat the people you care about, how you treat strangers. how you deal with anger. how you deal with pain. and not necessarily dealing with all these things the same way but being perceptive enough to understand what action each situation calls for. it’s important for both people to be on the same page about what that action should be. it’s important to me to have that kind of synchrony.

And all of a sudden, I saw my man bleeding. His chest was. I felt so numb but I witnessed myself holding the knife. I was scared. It was intended to just reveal the truth. I wanted to scream at myself, to bang my head in the wall. But after time, I noticed that I was bleeding, too.

Please don’t use ‘I love you’ as a filler when you’ve got nothing to say. Don’t use it as an alternative for ‘sorry’. Don’t use it when you’re feeling bad or mad. Don’t use it to escape an argument. Don’t say it out of pity. Don’t use it against someone. Instead, please use it wisely. Calm yourself then think once, twice, or maybe even a hundred times before using it. Question yourself before uttering it. Make sure you know it’s what you feel before saying it. Say it only to the right person. Say it because you mean it. Say it because not saying it makes you anxious. Say it because there’s no other word nor phrase that compares to how you feel. Say it because that person earned your trust to hear it and last; Say this to yourself. You deserve it.

Siyempre ganun pa rin, ang hirap na yung barkada mo nung first year first sem eh hindi mo na kasama ngayon. Yung malalaman mong kumakain sila sabay-sabay sa ganito ganyan, yung makikita mong may squad goals silang photos. I am jealous. How can I not be? Namimiss ko lang naman sila, yung tipong sa gc namin eh hindi ko na maintindihan yung pinaguusapan nila kaya madalas seen na lang ako o kaya magtatanong ako pero paminsan lang kasi di ko talaga kilala or alam yung topic. Parang ang layo mo sakanila, parang napaglipasan ka na. Nakakalungkot how I want to make time with them pero sila hindi nila ako tinatanong kung vacant ba ako ng ganitong time, siyempre ako lang mag-isa eh. Ako pa mag-iinsist, hindi naman sa pagpapabebe pero parang di na ako belong.

it sucks how ppl give their all to the person they truly love yet not receiving what they deserve. it sucks how ppl ignore the person who loves them so much and goes gaga over the person who hurts them obviously. it sucks how ppl avoid falling in love again after a serious heartbreak. it sucks how ppl stop loving others even theirselves due to their hopeless beliefs. it sucks how ppl easily give up on love. it sucks how ppl fight for love yet it's not worth the strength. it sucks how ppl neglect respect from theirselves or from the person they love. it sucks how ppl take money as a source of effort. it sucks how ppl freely forget the ppl around them just for love. it really sucks how love marks a person. it really sucks how love does it to a person. it really sucks how love makes everything so fine after every fights. it really sucks how love gives a person a chance to be so stupid. it really sucks how love can make a person so fucked up. it sucks and it really fucks.
