Greetings poll side of tumblr!

I made this poll exclusively because 1-B deserves more love and I haven’t seen enough of them around the polls lately. So I’m putting all 20 of them against each other in a double bracket elimination!

I cannot place my bracket plan because it was typed out rather than using an image, but it simply means more surprises along the way!

Here’s some general rules and info:

-ask and anon will be on, and propaganda is allowed and very much encouraged! But for the love of Shiozaki, keep everything SFW because these are teenagers and I do not like the yuck on my blogs

-there is very mild bias for characters in the initial matchups, but only because I want to make sure the win isn’t guaranteed to be Kendo or Monoma. I will keep my own opinions to myself- and I will also not be voting at all for that extra neutrality!

-your propaganda can include headcanons and I will absolutely love to hear them

-if you are any form of scum human being or try to bring politics into this blog you will be ignored/blocked. This is to vote for our underrated blorbos

-poll lengths will be one week for maximum visibility!

-do not ask me to add your oc, I doubt it will happen but this is canon only. Vlad isn’t in here either so don’t expect him

This is going to be a mini tournament that will decide which of the submissions that I didn't think quite fitted the tournament criteria will get into the tournament proper! Round one consists of

Time for a special shout out post! everyone has been great during this poll but there's some fans that have really left an impression on me.

First is @kirider for their insanely passionate arguments for Lupin Red, as well gifting us a guy who I feel will stay for me a long time now, beloved Noël <3 (Also their art is adorable and really fun check em out!)

the second is @fullmoonfireball one of the most consistent and vocal supporters of several contestants throughout the competition and I've loved the energy "GO MY PSIONIC WARRIORS" is gonna live in my head rent free

and finally, All the Toku fans out there! There were stronger groups (as proven by the continual loses) with greater numbers, but no one has had more heart than you guys, you've really made this a riot to host.

I've set up this tournament to celebrate a type of character that I've always loved from when I was a little, and that's characters that fight with or regularly use different and dangerous types of string for mobility or other reasons!

For the sake of clarity, the things that are considered a dangerous string are

String

Rope

Wire (smooth, barbed etc)

Chain

Whip

Hair (at the mercy of my discretion)

String like energy constructs (also at my discretion)

other things that heavily involve string such as Yo-yos (BOWS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED, the string does not play a big enough part I'm sorry)

Other Rules

Multiple characters can be submitted if they all use dangerous strings and work closely as a unit.

Feel free to submit an image of your submission either via upload or link (preferably transparent and / or with the character utilising their dangerous string)

You can submit as many characters as you want, but only one character/ group at a time please

If I get a lot of submissions for the same character I'll add them to this post so people know they don't need to submit them again

Submissions will be open until the 23rd of May
