I'm a photographer of things... And I get a multitude of various things on or around my desk at the Field Museum. Here are some things... from my desk... at the Field Museum. About Me Check out what critics are saying about Things on my Desk! "...as [the] title describes..." -Iamdawt "Not quite..." -combustiblechole "...vague..." - techno-gal The obligatory small text: This is a personal blog. The views and opinions in this blog are mine alone and do not reflect the views and opinions of the Field Museum.

Best workfam 💛. This is just the crazies that stayed at the work holiday party until we got kicked out and had to go to our favorite local tavern.

Some of these photos still have some life to them. I took these photos in 2009 when first started volunteering here during my second year of college.

Much of my next posts will likely reuse the same photo sets... bare with the repetition. I’m re-entering an art school level of rigor for my photography.

Doing some experimentations. Just a start. Gotta exhaust composition studies. Looking at a lot of comic pages for narrative flows. None of these are finished pieces.
Who else read a lot of A Softer World way back when?

I’ve gotta lot of updating to do...
From many hours of driving, and many rolls of film, and great amounts of digital storage space...
Photographed at the Salt Wash Viewing Area - UT 30-VI-2018
And for you photo nerds out there, it was taken with Portra 160 sprocketless 35mm

A couple months back I was in Atlanta and I ended up sitting with whale sharks for something like three to three and a half hours. Watching the fish make their rounds and observing waves of visitors come and go.
Not really sure what I’m going on about but here are some pretty pictures from that one time two months ago.
