PLEASE STOP HARASSING DECK NINE DEVS AND LIS PLAYERS WHO DON'T AGREE WITH YOU.

Death threats are not okay.

Telling people to kill themselves is not okay.

Harassing people over fictional ships is not okay.

Harassing people over their opinion of a game is not okay.

Harassing already overstressed, overworked employees is not okay. ESPECIALLY since it's been documented they've been working under discriminatory and predatory management, been through multiple crunches, and have an unidentified neo-Nazi on their team who management did not properly address and fire.

You can still be critical of a game and not harass the people who made it. Hell, you can absolutely hate a game and still be respectful to the people who made it. I'm sure the creators are far more likely to listen to the fans if we give constructive criticism than if we irresponsibly and cruelly send threats.

I know most people who see this haven't sent hate, and to those people: this post isn't about you. I massively respect you for maintaining your rationality and empathy. But for those who have sent hate or are thinking of doing so, please reconsider. Sending hate isn't going to change anything; it'll only break the fandom even further apart and stress out overworked employees. If you're going to be mad, be mad at the higher-ups at Square Enix for turning the franchise into a cash cow and at the upper management at Deck Nine for overworking and alienating their employees. (Also be mad at that 1 neo-Nazi because seriously, WTF!?)

But please, even to the worst of the worst, do not send death threats or harass people.

With the results of this election: let's all turn back to LiS 2 and remember that the hatred and racism displayed in that game were not just exaggerated for drama. Those are genuine experiences that REAL LIFE PEOPLE have been through. If you felt horrible about what Sean dealt with, then imagine every actual non-fiction human being who is coping right now, watching the world turn against them.

I am just gonna go ahead and say that I'm not playing Double Exposure. I don't really care if people say I'll be missing out or if I sound juvenile. It pisses me off that they say they are trying to honor both endings when a lot of us sacrificed an entire town so another queer character wasn't thrown away and Pricefield could be together.

Listen, I'm not gonna spend a crap ton of money to play something that mischaracterizes Chloe so bad. I understand why they wanted to focus on Max's story outside of Chloe, but they didn't have to do it the way they did. Yes, Chloe was a complicated character. She was bratty, irresponsible, and explosive. She was also sensitive, loving, and insanely loyal. You sit and think about all the stuff she did to stick by both Max and Rachel, and the idea she would just leave Max is ridiculous. Especially since it had to do with what happened in Arcadia Bay. You really expect me to believe she was able to mend fences with David, but being around Max was too hard for her? No matter what guilt she felt over everything, Max felt it too, probably even more so. The only person who could truly understand what she was going through was Max and vice versa. They knew that when they held hands at the lighthouse as they watched Arcadia Bay be destroyed. Then Chloe said "I'll always be with you".

I'm not saying that I expected Chloe to be attached to Max's hip. She didn't even have to actually show up, in person, in the game. They could have honestly just shown her through text chains, something that's easy to take out if you went the Bay route. Max and Chloe could have been having a long-distance relationship. It's even a small thing that could show how they've grown up and how they deal with long-distance relationships now that they're adults (as opposed to how they handled the friendship when Max was in Seattle). And since they couldn't have Chloe involved in the main plot, maybe Max just kept her in the dark about it. Chloe could have found something to do for a living that makes her happy, and Max doesn't want her to worry while she's away.

That's all they had to do. It didn't have to be that, exactly, but it didn't take any time to think up. The developers of Double Exposure didn't even try to think up a satisfying continuation for the people who chose the Bae ending. At this point, it's starting to feel like a punishment for making the "wrong" choice. Chloe couldn't accept Max's choice to save her, and these writers (not the original writers) can't seem to accept our choice to save her either. But I will not apologize for it. I've proudly had Bae over Bay in my bio for years now. I refuse to consider Chloe Price as expendable.

So I am just gonna stick to the comics. That's got the star-crossed sapphic love so powerful it becomes a force of nature vibe I'm looking for. I should probably just be happy I saved myself 50 bucks.

So they missed the point of Chloe’s character. Made her a “free spirit who doesn’t want to be tied down” even though that does not sound like her at all. She’s not Rachel. She literally has abandonment issues. She’s loyal and loves hard. She doesn’t let go of things easily or often. She craves to be loved and wanted.

And made her a loser bum who has no future or career. Girl is extremely intelligent especially in science. They could have given her huge science career where her and Max would be long distance because of said career which would have explained her absence better than a bs break up.

And for some reason I still think we are being tricked. I feel like this could be all in Max’s mind like a nightmare or something. Since Chloe apparently is now hanging out with Victoria on top of all the other stuff we find out in the first few episodes. She’s saying and doing everything nightmare Chloe did in the first game.
