Hi, it's me again 😅 (it's already becoming a habit and you can tell me if you're already fed up with me around here) I realized that there was something I hadn't come to thank you for yet, it's been a while since I read your fic "The Doctor's Brilliant Idea" where the doctor is asexual, I'm on the asexual spectrum, I'm demisexual (I only feel romantic attraction after I already feel the connection with the person or build a real bond) and I loved how you represented 10th as ace in your writing, really cool, I think there are few fics with this theme, I only found one about Tenrose which was a human au in which 10th was demi like me, it was great and I felt very happy to read it but it's kind of scarce (I REALLY wanted it to have Tenmartha too but it doesn't seem to have it yet) but yours is excellent I loved how the doctor is placed, how he is represented and the story is truly sensational, his and Rose's confusion is hilarious. Anyway, it's so beautiful, thank you for the really nice gifts ❤️ (it was extremely long again, I apologize)

Thank you so much. I started writing that fic before I’d made any friends in the fandom, and initially, I didn’t realize actual asexuality was such a widespread thing. I’d never met a single person that openly identified as ace until I started writing fic, and suddenly, I knew a bunch! So I was nervous about offending people with the thought that asexuality (as my fictional, fic-based alien experienced it) was something that could be “cured”… 😅 Thankfully, it went over well

Any time an ace person has shown support for that fic, it’s meant so much to me!

(I have another “asexual Ten” fic with TenRose called Extemporary Intimacy, btw. Not that you have to read it, but you mentioned having never encountered that concept, so I thought you’d like to know!)

You also mentioned wishing that concept existed with Martha… I’ve actually got a WIP of that, too! It starts pretty much the exact same way as that Brilliant Idea fic, but takes a different direction, as these are two verrrry different ships/dynamics. It’s nice to know at least one person would be willing to read it 💖 needless to say, that’s one that will be posted on my other account (when the time comes). One day.

Hello again, I hope everything is okay. I just thought of one more thing to ask: I really loved the first chapter of your fic "Can't Shift the Tide." It's wonderful, and I hope that one day, after all the other fics I know are occupying your mind, you can continue it. But I wonder if in any episode of it we'll see something like what happened in "The Purpose of Repose," when Martha had a very specific dream about 10th. I wonder if he's had something similar in his time apart from them, or even when they were in Blink, stuck in that time? since he has a chapter where he's impatiently waiting for him to wake up so they can do "activities."

Ahhh yes, that fic. Siiiigh, hahaha. Thank you so much! I hate to dangle this info in front of you, but I’ve got three chapters of that fic partially written, with two of them teetering on completion 💀 It just hasn’t been a huge priority, as the specificity means there aren’t a lot of people around asking for updates. But trust that I’ll be messing with chapter two before bed, thanks to you! 💖

As for the stuff you mentioned at the end… It’s dangerous waters, trying to tackle those topics on main—but I will say that the next chapter also involves a bit of morning impatience… Which leads to smut, because of course it does.
