so in case you’re somehow unaware, Sydney Sweeney did an add with American Eagle that basically said “Sydney Sweeney has great Jeans (Genes)” and was a obvious dog whistle to white people (the kkk) about eugenics

people have been getting fed up with her for a while now tbh, but this was obviously the final straw. But the thing is…now people are saying Sydney Sweeney isn’t hot. Okay, fine, she’s not. But they’re saying she has a “butter face” and “poor girl eyes”? Like, oh, okay, fighting eugenics and misogyny with….more eugenics and misogyny! and the thing is, this isn’t even a new occurrence. You can find the most objectively attractive people around but reveal them to be problematic or “evil” and suddenly they’re not only ugly, but they will nitpick the ugly things about them.

…does that not seem wrong to you guys? I get tying attraction to personality, most people do. Someone’s got an ugly personality now they’re an “ugly” person. But actually finding physical faults and calling them out to thousands on the internet? Faults that REAL people have. People are GOOD by your standard? Why do you do this? Sydney Sweeney is a bad person but she’s not ugly. Gwen Stefani is a trump supporter but she’s not ugly. Stop bullying people with your self righteousness, because the only thing you’re achieving is showing others that you find certain things about them ugly.
