I honestly can't help it trying to think about unusual pairings, I think it's a lot of fun and it becomes a challenge when you have to question yourself, how is this going to work? In this case, responding at your question, at this moment I fell right and hard on Lunge x Gillen lolol.

I think they have the potential to have a really interesting dynamic and I loved their scene together talking about Tenma's case. It shows a man who thinks so sure he knows Tenma, obssesed with him at the point where he's the center of his life, and even if in our eyes he's completely wrong, he defends this posture because is everything he has left. And at the other hand you have a man who believes in him, who really knows who he is on a somewhat personal level, and who in a similar but not identical way, all of this case is going to consume his life too. This clash of thoughts and beliefs, that even the story acknowledges their paralels with the way they gather information, makes them so interesting to me and it can leave room to make a dynamic on anything they talk or work together with.

(Also, another explicit paralel, two men who their wives left because they're obssesed workaholics !! Old man yaoi wins)
