GOING SLEEVELESS: STEREOTYPED NO MORE

Whenever someone would dare to wear a tank top or go sleeveless, Often than not, You would hear “Pasimflex”, “BATAK!”, or even see people raise an eyebrow. This has been the stereotype that has led others to avoid wearing a sleeveless shirt as much as possible,Well at least in the Philippine setting. People should come to realize that going sleeveless isn’t just about showing off some skin or “flexing” but a preference of comfort over style — losing control. 

Another school of thought is that what if it’s the other way around: You don’t have guns like Channing Tatum. Yes, but is there a rule that only guys who do can go sleeveless? Certainly not. Let’s have a change of perspective, people! Let’s lose control. Let’s be free!

SELF-PORTRAIT INTRO

Hello there! I am André Blanco, A 19 year old who’s into fashion and style. This is my blog.

Anyway, Things I look into when I do my purchases are (1) Material (2) Cost (3) Style (4) Comfort.Considering those things,  It usually  takes me a long time to process a purchase. Yes, you might think “Style over comfort” yet It doesn’t really matter to me whether it’s style or comfort. I just wear whatever that feels like it in a certain day.  What I have here is a Green Monotonous look.

I used two shades of green for my outfit, Mint green and Forest Green. “Pastel with pastel.” yet combining these two makes each one pop. I decided to wear the button-down over with white tee. You can never go wrong with white. As for shoes, Beige leather loafers, to complete my look. To wrap things up, I’d say this outfit is casual yet classy, and it’s something that’s ME.

Majority of items on my outfit were bought on sale.
