intro post/rp ad

Hello, I'm Cadence, any pronouns, and welcome to my sideblog! I'm hoping to use this as a roleplay blog - my main is @indubitablycadence, where I mostly reblog other people's stuff tbh. I'm aroace, otherkin and Chinese. (If you can't deal with that, click off. I don't have the time for bigotry.) My timezone is BST/GMT.

18+ blogs please DNI, as I'm a minor (under 16)! I don't mind interacting with adults but don't be weird.

Some of my hobbies are playing piano, baking, collecting currency and writing, of course. Some of my fandoms are Ride the Cyclone, SCP Foundation, Heathers (the musical), SIX, Good Omens, Poppy Playtime and Lego Monkie Kid. (Note the amount of dedication I have to these fandoms varies.)

Now for the roleplay stuff! I'll put this under the cut since it gets pretty long.

First things first, bear in mind that I have very little experience with roleplay so I might do some things wrong sometimes. Also people have told me my writing is good, but idrk. I can at least guarantee you good grammar and spelling, consistent replies and interesting ideas.

Secondly, no smut, and probably not that much romance either. I'm a minor and would prefer to stay away from roleplays specifically for romance - maybe if we find that our characters have a natural chemistry I'll try.

I'm more interested in fandomless/oc roleplay than fandom roleplay (besides an SCP roleplay I've been dying to do that), but if you have some interesting fandom-based plot ideas I might consider it, depending on how familiar I am with the fandom and characters - even in the fandoms I'm in some characters I don't feel confident enough in my writing ability to roleplay as. Besides the ones I listed there are others that I'm familiar with, you can DM me to ask about those.

For fandomless roleplay I'll do any settings, but I really have a soft spot for any breed of urban fantasy and historical settings (especially colonial America, revolutionary France and ancient China, excepting Victorian era or WW2), and I have very vague ideas for an apocalyptic setting. I'd also love to do heavy worldbuilding. Dark stuff is fine, just no graphic gore or suicide (I'll make a proper list of triggers if people actually see this) I'm still trying to figure out what stuff I can and can't write, so for now, any kind of plot goes (but again, no smut and don't get your hopes too high on romance). I'm most familiar with slice of life stuff and less with action and fighting scenes - doesn't mean I want to stay away from them, just that my replies might take longer and not be great.

My writing style will be semi-literate to literate depending on how many unestablished details there are in the scene. Please no lazy writing - sentences that are unreadable because of bad spelling and grammar, vague one liners, straying ridiculously far from canon if we're doing fandom roleplay, that kind of thing.

Besides that, this blog will probably be iconless, I'd like to be friends and chat OOC and I'll write in whatever person (1st, 2nd, 3rd, secret 4th option) you feel most comfortable with, plus I can RP as multiple characters if the plot demands it.
