Me just now, cradling an enormous puffball mushroom in my arms like a swaddled babe, careful not to tear its soft and yielding flesh, walking through a graveyard: “You and I have much in common, my friend. You are nearer to animal than plant. Did you know that? We are cousins.”

"Templar armor is so conductive. It's like they're begging for me to shoot lightning at them." Not that she would, unless provoked.

@freefromthequn cont. from ask Ari squealed when she was scooped up into the Qunari's arms. Her cheeks turned fiery red when his lips touched them and she stammered out that it was ok, that she didn't mind. "A-ah, th-thank you..." she reached up to pick the essence from her hair, flicking the sticky substance off of her fingers as she looked anywhere but up at him.

Adi shook her head vigorously. “The pieces I make a-are in the Undercroft.” She replied. “I only make armor for myself, so if I mess up, it doesn’t get someone else hurt.” She was still learning the craft. It was a trial and error process, with Dagna and Harrit teaching her as she went.
“B-but thank you for the compliment on the armor.” Adi added quickly. She didn’t want to seem ungrateful. “But I had nothing to do with it. Th-thank the others here, they did the work.”
“Aye, but you gathered the materials for us!” One of the blacksmiths spoke up over the roar of the forge he stood near. Adi’s cheeks tinted and she ducked outside, motioning for Maxus to follow. The next stop was the tavern.

“Oh! There’s very much fiction, if you know where to look.” Adi scuttled past Dorian quickly- the man made her nervous- and then over to a little tucked away alcove of the library. “In here is where all of the fiction books are. And across the rotunda, there’s poetry.” She motioned across the way and then turned back to Akorad.
“What kind of fiction do you like to read?” She wondered silently for a moment of Akorad would read to her. He had a pleasurable enough voice for it.
Adorable? More like Akor-able!

Adi sighed, her shoulders slumping. She quickly scuttled out of the hallway and back into the great hall. "Let's... go to the library next." She led Akorad up the winding stairs, past the rotunda, and into the library. She greeted Dorian with a sweet smile before she set about explaining everything.
"This is where we have all of our books. Well, most all. Some of them are down in the basement." She swept her arms out. Overhead, crows screamed down at them.
Adorable? More like Akor-able!

If it were possible, Adi's face would have darkened a shade further. Instead, her ears lowered in shame and she shrank further away from the man.
"I-if you wouldn't mind..." she muttered. "We haven't been here long. H-Haven was... better." But Haven was also buried under meters of snow. She twisted her hands in front of her slowly. "I-I'll show you to the armory."
The armory was one of the more put together parts of Skyhold- Cassandra and Cullen had made sure of it. The place was in full swing already. "This is where you can requisition things. Almost anything." She paused by the requisition table to glaze over the list of needed items. "We knew of y-your arrival so there's already been Inquisition armor made for you and the other men you came with." True to her word, shiny new armor lined one wall.
