Honestly, as an LA resident who’s been loyal to the Dodgers for as long as I can remember, this is a huge disappointment… Them winning the World Series was the last happy moment I had before election day 2024. I’ve been clinging to that feeling in hope that it will get me through these next 4 years. I still feel that strong sense of loyalty. I can’t help but feel that fear of retaliation from the thin skinned leaders at the top played a role in this. But still, this hurts.

Just saw Wish. Honestly, all this movie needed was a childhood flashback at the start of the film like all the previous heroine led films (starting from the Princess and the Frog) to develop Asha a little bit and it would be a much stronger story. Otherwise, I didn’t think it was that bad.
