Before I start my rant I would like to clarify I don't have VIP nor have played Surrender but I still want to add my two cents as someone who has participated in BDSM in the past

It's very dangerous for someone to read books like Surrender and or 50 Shades especially if they are only used to "vanilla" s*x or don't have knowledge of the subject you need to be slowly eased into it that way the other could know of they like it or not the last thing we want is to overwhelmed our Dom/Sub

It could be very dangerous especially if it's with the wrong partner it could lead to someone getting hurt or an excuse for abuse to take place dispite the name and the act BDSM also has gentleness involved by that I mean a safe word and after care especially for a sub

BDSM is not just whips and chains its all about trust, understanding and above all else consent if you don't have one of theses then its not BDSM its an abuse of power and relationship

Its abuse if the person is not in a sound mental state

Its abuse if the other person is not consenting and/or being coerced

Its abuse if the person is only using BDSM as a way to hurt you

BDSM could be fun and exciting if used/practiced responsibly and safely amd with someone you trust and love

NOT with people like Christian Grey from 50 shades or Reagan from Surrender

(I honestly hope Reagan isn't just a copy and paste of Christian I hope it shows aftercare and gentleness)

'My main wishes for future PB Books are honestly being able to pick pronouns, being able to pick a male MC (pls I'm so done with genderlocked books), and an equal amount of female and male LIs. The genderlock is what bothers me the most tbh. It's one of the reasons why I deleted Choices for some time. Not being able to choose who you are takes you out of the immersion. It's honestly a big deal breaker for me. I know that Choices main player base is female, but that doesn't mean that male players/players who identify as male don't exist. Same with pronouns. It's what I loved about Forbidden Affairs, because people were able to identify with MC at least a little more. I hope it will be a more consistent option in the future!'

If they do implement it I wonder how it will work? Are we gonna be able to make our own love interest from past love interest from other books? How much freedom are we allowed? Like I'm honestly excited and scared for what they could do with this

it was mentioned as a possibility in the survey but if choices actually allowed users to make community made stories using their assets? now some of you have terrible ideas but some of you are more creative than pixelberry so that could actually be fun

zoey wade deserves better treatment as a love interest in queen b. yes, i romance kingsley and i love them. however, this doesn’t mean zoey should be written as a walking wardrobe, only there to help the main character when she is also a love interest. zoey wade deserves to be written like a proper love interest, on the same level as kingsley.
