Sleep is our fuel
How does sleep affect our health?
Sleep is a natural need of every human being. At the same time, it is one of the most underrated activities of everyday life. We often consider it as something unproductive and unnecessary, often without realizing how lack of sleep can affect our body. Learn the most common causes of sleep deprivation and the health consequences of not getting enough sleep.
 Why do we need sleep?
Sleep is a state of physical rest during which our body regenerates. During sleep, a person regains energy, vitality and strength to take on new challenges.

How much sleep does our body need?
An adult spends an average of 1/4 of his / her life sleeping about 6 hours a day. This amount of sleep may not be enough. Scientists emphasize that in order for our body to fully regenerate, we should sleep about 8 hours. At the same time, it should be remembered that here not only the number of hours spent on sleep counts, but also its quality. Research shows that lazing in bed for too long can also have a negative effect on our body.

What can lack of sleep result?
Sleep deprivation is a huge threat to our health. Lack of sleep reduces the overall physical fitness of the body, reducing work efficiency. Alcohol and drugs are just as likely to contribute to road accidents. Too few hours of sleep can result in excessive daytime sleepiness, problems with concentration and memory, impaired judgment, slower reaction, and increased errors. Lack of sleep can also cause excessive irritability and the development of depression.

Lack of sleep can also increase the risk of developing many diseases, such as cardiovascular disease and high blood pressure. On the other hand, obstructive sleep apnea is more common in patients with type 2 diabetes. At the same time, more and more scientific reports emphasize that lack of sleep may increase the susceptibility to the development of infections. Conversely, increasing the duration of sleep during an infection increases the likelihood of a faster recovery.
Remember to foster your sleep and never forget about it. Sleep is our fuel to live!

Hi everyone! Welcome in our new blog where we are going to talk about water. Our goal is to promote drinking water and to encourage more and more people to do it.
We are so excited to start this campaign and remember:
#water_is_the_source_of_life! <3
Why?
Because water is the main component of our body. In children, water accounts for up to 70% of the total body weight. Its content in the body decreases with age. In adults, water usually makes up about 50% of body weight.
It is thanks to water that all vital activities take place in our body. Nutrients go accurately to the cells and waste products are removed. Water enables gas exchange in the lungs, ensuring their constant hydration.
Since the dawn of time, water has been used as a symbol of life, but no wonder, after all, it is necessary for the proper functioning of almost every living creature.
Increased resistance to various types of bacteria and viruses, cleansing the body, or body temperature regulation are just some of the long list of benefits that come with its regular consumption. Additionally, water reduces fatigue and is invaluable for our overall endurance and fitness.
If you want to learn more about water and you cough the bug follow our blog where we will post articles and fun facts about water. Stay tuned and remember #stay_hydrated!
