Random headcanon that Aevus (aka D.ialga aka Time Baby aka Time Dino) can travel through the multiverse. Just because he’s a deity of time doesn’t mean he can’t.

Sure, he has little to no control over where exactly he’ll land should he travel, but that’s neither here or there.

There's a Satanpede. They gave their temporal brother the same look they gave him at their reunion, before... Hugging him. Awh. "... Dun' get lost again, aight? If ya do, I'ma go lookin' fer ya, an' then I'ma drag ya ass back home. Aight?"

At first Dialga didn’t know what to expect from his sibling when he noticed them coming over. The last time they spoke, Giratina had really torn him a new one (that was the expression, wasn’t it?) about his disappearance. 

Not that he didn’t deserve it, but he was tense all the same.

Needless to say, the last thing he expected was a hug. There was a short moment of hesitation before he gave a hug back. He did miss his family while he was away, so who could blame him? For him, the hug was a silent promise that he wouldn’t get lost again. 

“Alright. I’ll hold you to that.”

And the next he’s tap-dancing away. There’s no music, but he is not about to let that stop him.

((So I saw @oursavior-ourlord's headcanon about Goat Dad doing ballet and it 100% inspired this small tidbit about the Time Baby because it led to me looking up dancing videos on Youtube and I realized.

Tap dancing is totally a thing Time Baby/Time Dino/Aevus could do, right?))

“I can’t say that I do, actually. I had to pick up more than a few tricks during my travels through the multiverse. A lot of the worlds I happened upon relied on technology, so I learned from watching the natives, so to speak.”

It helped that he was genuinely interested in technology. 

🙄 - How do you handle boredom and monotony?

“Easily. I just...find something to read through and I practice. It’s how I got the hang of technology, and I got a better grasp on aura doing that, too.”

“......”

“My family. That is, my father and siblings. I haven’t seen them in eons...” The more he thought about it, the more it hurt. Getting lost was one thing, getting lost in your own dimension was another thing. 

And getting lost in your own dimension and taking over fifteen billion years to make your way home? Quite a different thing entirely.

“I’m...a little surprised Father doesn’t hate me for that, honestly.”

Should he mention that he’s heard a lot worse than ‘fuck’ in his travels to get back home? The multiverse was huge, after all. Different languages and all that. What should he do?

“It’s fine, Father. Really, I’ve heard a lot worse.” He’s also said a lot worse too, but he’ll just keep that under his hat.

Roar of Time

Here are some basic headcanons I got for Roar of Time (because it’s about hecking time I say):

I’ll provide links to asks in which I discussed this with an anon on @lukissed, but Roar of Time isn’t actually as loud as the name suggests! The distortion of time releases all the sound in a given area at once; it’s not a matter of volume so much as how much sound goes into the attack. The power level stays the same, but a ‘quieter’ Roar of Time would be less visible/harder to track.  (1) (2) 

This being said, Roar of Time is an aura-based move. This means that it can drastically affect the aura of those it hits.

Getting hit by that move (even a small shockwave of it) can result in death. In fact, the number of people who survived getting hit by this move (like Lucas did) can be counted on one hand. 

There is a large amount of pain the person goes through, though. And there’s always some kind of scar running across the victim’s body (like the scar on Lucas’ arm).

If the person it hit doesn’t die, there’s the possibility of winding up, well...just about anytime in the timeline. One person could end up in the 1920′s with no way of going back, and another person could end up centuries into the future. And some (like Lucas) could end up just a little bit into their own past.

I personally headcanon Dialga to be associated with the heart and ears (because of its PokeDex entry and the relationship between time and music), so would Roar of Time affect these thing in those it affects? I haven’t decided honestly? Maybe.
