amelia never though there was anything missing in her life, she knew that her father was out there somewhere, but she had everything she needed in her mother. she grew up poor, but happy and never thought much of life outside of her and her mother.

now that amelia has moved back to Lima, Ohio, she’s begun to get more curious, he mother always told her, her birth father was an old fling from her hometown, and lately it seems like any middle aged man could be her father, and she’s desperate to find out who he is.

ameila’s always had a knack for getting herself into sticky situations, she’s pure of heart but quite precocous and tends to trust people a little too easily, which leads to any number of mishaps with those of her friends who humor her.

katherine ‘kitty’ wilde » mother;  amelia and her mom are extremely close, and she would call her mother he best friend. she call and will tell her mother everything, even though she knows her mother’s been hiding something from her for her entire life - the identity of her father.

luca st. james » family friend; amelia has known luca since she was a child and considers him a close friend. now that she’s moved to lima with her mother he is the only friend she has at school, and they are closer than ever.

rachel berry » godmother; rachel has always been like a second mother to amelia and she is more like an aunt than a family friend. amelia thinks she’s a little crazy, but loves her nonetheless.

Headcanons

up until he and mike started officially dating, gio had been working as a male escort and he is not ashamed of it. nine times out of ten he wasn’t doing anything remotely sexual and regardless he’s always been very comfortable with sex and his sexuality. it’s a career choice he’s never regretted.

has always had money. his parents came from money and then gained more wealth by becoming the founders of the top weed dispensaries in the country. when he was twenty-seven he gained full control of his trust fund and before that he was doing really well for himself as an escort. however, most people have no idea he comes from wealth or that he has an ivy league education. in fact, most people think he’s just a dumb, pretty, sugar baby.

is an only child and in large part, because of that he wants a big family and he is pretty ademant on starting one with mike as soon as possible.

michael “mike” chang » husband;  gio had enjoyed the company of many men and women, a couple fo which he’d have said he loved, but it was in the moment he laid eyes on mike that he learned what it felt like to truly love another person. true to his romantic nature he proposed just four months after they started dating. now people have their suspicions, they gossip, they assume but gio has never cared because he gets to spend the rest of his life with a person better than anything he could have dreamed up.

lianna puckerman » best friend; several years ago, gio had been accompanying a business man to a lavish party and to this day gio would tell you that was the day fate made herself known to him. for at that party he met his best friend, who has always supported him, who has always seen him for who he truly is and might well have been the first person to ever love him and not one of his many masks. and while mike is his life partner, lianna will always be his partner in crime.

noah “puck” puckerman » friend; when lianna and gio met she had already been a puckerman, so it wasn’t long before the two met, and gio had instantly loved puck’s spirit, his crude and crass sense of humor, his fearless actions and how he looked cleaning a pool. these two seem like an unlikely duo but over the years they’ve really grown into a strong friendship, which was good considering how close mike and puck were.

when kitty was eighteen years old, she was engaged in an extra-marital affair with her friend and fellow church-goer, samuel evans. the two because very close and planned on starting a life together, but when sam couldn’t bring himself to leave his wife, kitty broke things off. at the time they broke up, kitty was pregnant with sam’s child and she quickly moved to new york before he - or anyone else - could find that out. 

kitty’s spend the last sixteen years living with her daughter in new york city and working as a cheerleading and gymnastics coach. now that her daughter is starting highschool she’s moved her back to her home town of Lima, Ohio in hopes of reconnecting with her roots.

now that kitty is back in town, and working in close proximity to samuel, she knows it’s only a matter of time before someone figures it out - and then there’s the time capsule factor, an event which she participated in before she left lima.

samuel evans » former fling; when kitty and sam first began their relationship they didn’t have much in common, but as they got to know each other better a deep connection based on friendship and faith was formed which eventually blossomed into something much more. kitty hasn’t dated much since sam, and while she’ll deny it, he truly is the love of her life.

rachel berry » friend; ever since her days as a glee club member, kitty’s kept in touch with rachel. while rachel knows about amelia (and is her god-mother) she’s still unaware of her biological father, as kitty’s affair with sam was never revealed to her. the pair often meet for cocktail hours or tea and discuss work and the rearing of their children.

quinn was with the group the night that the time capsule was buried and she placed a letter inside detailing an extra marital affair she engaged in with a local politician when she was just sixteen. at the time she became pregnant and let everyone believe the father was noah puckerman, when it in fact was not. she later gave birth to a daughter, beth and gave her up for adoption.

quinn met and married biff mcintosh while she was still a student at Yale and while he seemed like a safe bet, stable, rich, and handsome, she soon learned that she was meant to be nothing more than a trophy wife. her hard work went ignored, and she was often neglected by her husband who was quickly taken over his families’ business and gaining more power. after she welcomed her son william into the world she thought things would get better but they didn’t.

when william turned eighteen, quinn filed for divorce and left biff, but was left with nothing due to a prenup she’d signed years earlier. after the divorced she moved back to her hometown, lima and took up residence with her childhood best friend, santana lopez - who is notorious for taking in strays.

last year quinn published a book chronicling her life as a divorced thirty--something and it was an instant success, gracing the ranks of the new york times best sellers and other top lists. since then she has created a lifestyle blog that has over a million subscribers and is in talks to create her own lifestyle brand.

william ‘liam’ mcintosh » son; liam is quinn’s only child and the true love of her life. he has always been her top priority and continues to be, even though lately he’s been underachieving. she parent’s him with a firm hand and words of encouragement and believes only the best of her boy.

santana lopez » best friend; despite ups and downs int he formative years of their friendship, the pair always remained close after highschool and when quinn found herself in a bind after a nasty divorce sanatana welcomed her with open arms.

sebastian smythe » friend; quinn’s ex husband and his family are huge contributors to sebastian’s campaign. though quinn is no longer with biff, sebastian and quinn still remain friends.

noah puckerman » ex-boyfriend, estranged friend; puck believes he is the father of quinn’s first child and was prepared to take on the full responsibility of fatherhood before it was decided they would give the child to a good home. since giving up beth for adoption, they two have not been on speaking terms.

after high school sebastian enrolled in law school at his father’s wishes, and though at the time it was not something he loved, he soon found passion in human affairs and social justice cases. in his second year of college he excepted an internship in paris at an international human affairs firm, and while there he met the up and coming fashion designer, kurt hummel. the pai dated the duration of sebastian’s schooling, often long-distance and are still together years later.

sebastian and kurt are currently raising a daughter together while planning their wedding an sebastian is also in the running for state senate, he has been working as a senior partner at a human affairs law firm for the past decade and wants to take his passion for social justice to washington.

celeste hummel-smythe » daughter; celeste is sebastian’s pride and joy, his only child and a spoiled one at that. she‘s adopted the most prominent traits of both her fathers, which both frightens and makes sebastian extremely proud.

samuel evans » best friend; an unlikely friendship to say the least, but with sebastian’s husband spending so much time with samuel’s wife it was inevitable that the pair form some sort of bond. over the years they’ve become close friends, even meeting once a week for a ‘boys night out’.

while celeste has grown up spoiled, and wanting for nothing, she has also been taught the value of hard work by her fathers and spends a lot of free time volunteers and involved with a wide variety of extra curricular activities. she is smart and an over-achiever, often receiving excellent grades.

despite her ability to be hardworking, she loves living a life of luxury and isn’t afraid to flaunt her fathers’ wealth in her expensive fashion choices. she loves being over the top in every way and her personality reflects that.

growing up without a mom has always been a point of contention between celeste and her fathers, and while she loves them to death she often wishes there was a more positive female influence in her life to help her through life’s struggles.

after high school, kurt and his new husband blaine moved to new york to begin their lives together. while kurt landed an internship at vogue almost immediately, blaine struggled to keep up with the demands of married life and a blossoming music career. it very quickly became apparent that the marriage was not a priority to either party and withing the year it fell apart, leading to a hasty divorce.

soon after his divorce from blaine, kurt moved to paris to continue his internship with vogue and in paris he met sebastian, also interning at an international law firm at the time. they pair’s relationship did not begin with love at first sight, but rather grew from a strained friendship into something more.

though kurt’s relationship with sebastian has gone through many ups and downs throughout kurt’s very successful career and raising their daughter celeste, they’ve only recently become engaged and are planning a wedding while sebastian runs for state senate.

rachel berry-evans » best friend; rachel has been kurt’s best friend since they first met as sophomores at william mckinley high school and to this day remain close. though they may not always see eye to eye, they we continued to have each other’s backs for life.
