A proper working oven

Eyes passed left down the hallway. Cobalt eyes passed to the right. Was he dreaming? A fully-functioning oven delivered right to his doorstep? He sure as fuck didn’t make enough money at the diner to acquire such a luxury for himself. Did some older, potential bachelor take note of Noah cooking pancakes and other breakfast goodies at the diner and wanted to woo the foul-mouthed blond? Had Noah drunk way too much nights prior and wound up ordering an oven online?

Oh what was this? A note? Still in his sleeping pants and with not a stitch of clothing on his torso, the blond bastard with that toothbrush in his mouth leaned his elbows on the oven as eyes passed over the note that had been left atop that fully-functioning kitchen appliance.

Now you owe me a tasty dessert when I come visit next time. -Levi

That son of a bitch! It was hard to bring a genuine grin to Noah’s face, but Levi had succeeded with flying colors! Hurrying to the other side, he hastily began pushing that oven into the interior of his dingy apartment, elated that he could finally make food without putting his own life at risk.

He’d make that man a dozen fucking cakes for such a thoughtful gift, you bet your ass!

“Heke!?” *cadens face lost all expression. Is THAT what she thought was going on? Lord knows the imagination on this girl…he didnt know weather to defend himself or feel embarrassed. The whole thing was just…awkward.

“I... uhm. Wow, okay, you could have asked without him needing to be here, you realize this, right?” All of that trouble made him a bit annoyed, now really wanting to leave if possible. Looking toward Caden, he noticed that he looked just as uncomfortable as he did, resulting in him sighing in exasperation.

“Look, I’m not doing anything to suggest seduction. Your brother and I are... friends.”

It was pretty clear he was annoyed. “See? Safe and unharmed…now what do you want Fross?”

*she leered at her brother before dissolving her weapon away…and without ssying a word glared daggeres at Levi*

Of course Levi wouldn’t dare summon his musket on the girl, but the playful feeling he had from before had vanished, leaving him in an uncomfortable position in front of the siblings. Should he leave them be now that Caden had shown himself? The glare he received from the girl suggested that it would be wise.

“Yes... you’re fine. I’ll leave you two alone if that’s what you want.”
