Week 14 Creative Act
(Lexi and Timos are watching TV in their Living Room with their dog Rocky)
Lexi: I’m tired of watching Joe Exotic, he isn’t a good person and it makes me sick.
Timos: Yeah he obviously became the type of person that values profits over the actual proper care of his animals. Let’s be glad Rocky isn’t that hard to take care of”
Lexi: Yeah Rocky just likes to sit on the floor and not do much else.
Timos: He sure has a lot of grey hairs now. It would probably be a good time to take him outside, do you wanna go for a walk?
Lexi: Yea sure we should totally do that. The exercise would be great for me after being stuck inside all day.
(Lexi and Timos get outside and start talking about their feelings about their current situation)
Lexi: Gee its really warm today, do you know what the weather is supposed to be like tomorrow?
Timos: I think it’s supposed to rain a little
Lexi: Ugh that’s not fun. Motivation is getting harder to come up with now.
Timos: Yeah I know what you mean it feels like there is nothing keeping us in check and on top of our work, I haven’t watched my lectures in the past three weeks since they’re being posted on canvas.
Lexi: Me too! I have been trying to focus on things that bring me joy like cooking and stuff so I think I’m going to make my own starter for sourdough and I can make dough whenever I want. ya
Timos: Yeah but I feel like we need to start picking ourselves up soon and push ourselves to do our work even though this semester away sucks. We should also prepare for a possible fall semester online, since COVID-19 isn’t just going to go away over the summer.
Lexi: If the fall semester is online I think I am taking a semester off.
Timos: I can’t do that I want to graduate on time. Even though I am definitely taking a gap year I don’t think I would be benefited graduating a semester late. I just am going to hope for the best and that we can have our regularly scheduled semester in the fall.
Lexi: If the fall semester is also online I am going to scream
