It put a smile on her face when Yusei was enjoying the applesauce. After awhile, he had finished his bowl. 

“Look at that, all finished! Good job, Yusei!” The caretaker then took a tissue paper and cleaned his mouth in a gentle manner.

Now there’s a face he hadn’t seen in a while, and one he’s rather fond of! A big squeal of joy came from the infant as he raised his arms towards her.

Lena immediately went up to the infant who was excitedly reaching out to her, carefully picking him up into her arms. She gently kissed his forehead as she was clearly very giddy just to be holding him again.

He looked up at Amy and noticed the bowl of applesauce in her hands.

“That’s right, a bowl of applesauce just for you, made from one of the best apples in the city!” Amy then filled some in a small spoon and gently gave it to Yusei. Hopefully he had the stomach to eat most of the bowl.

The infant’s eyes looked around curiously, eyeing the crib’s rails, pillows, blankets, toys, and even the mobile dangling above his face.

Before heading the kitchen, she took a quick glance at Yusei, being curious the crib’s attachments. She was glad that he fairly enjoyed them. 

With that contented thought, she took a batch of fresh-made apple juice that was made a year before, but not before trying a small spoonful to try it. It still tasted good, so it shouldn’t be problem for Yusei as well. She scooped some of it into a small bowl and returned to the infant. 

“There you go, little one, I hope you’re hungry.”

“Alright, let me put you in this cosy little bed while I’m preparing some freshly made apple sauce for you. Be right back.” Amy smiled as she was heading towards the kitchen.
