zavala is my favorite destiny character by virtue of being literally the most average milquetoast motherfucker in the entire game. hes normal. hes your boss that maybe you hang out with outside work every so often. he takes walks in the courtyard and talks to his ghost. he thinks about his wife. he makes bad decisions sometimes but on a comparatively small and extremely human scale. hes not a significant character to the plot like 2/3s of the time. hes bald. i love zavala. more characters like zavala
