:: 11 of 12 :: What makes a carrot sweet and delicious? 'You have wasted three good carrots!' Zaza said angrily to Tiny, when the carrots Tiny picked were too thin and skinny to eat. According to Zaza, a carrot is the sweetest and most delicious when it's fat and juicy 😋🥕 Yes, you can now order my first children book. :: 4 of 12 :: Who is Princess Zaza? ZaZa aka Princess Floppyhead. Her fur is grey with a royal white tail. She says she comes from a royal family. Although we don’t know how true that is 😒 She thinks she’s superior than everyone else in the gang. She always blames her floppy head on wearing the crown for too long. But she is willing to bear the heavy burden if it brings lots of carrots for the gang. She is a bit of a snob. She doesn’t like getting her paws dirty. She only eats carrots if chopped up neatly. But she loves a good buddle just like all the other bunnies. #tinycanhelpthebook Illustration by @fernchoonetillus https://www.instagram.com/p/CUrcWnslnLD/?utm_medium=tumblr

:: 3 of 12 :: who is the fierce and mighty bunny? Bunny aka The OB (The Original Bunny). Bunny is the first and the original in the family. She is hardworking and always makes sure the burrow is comfortable for the gang. She’s also the leader of the pack who raids carrots from their mum’s fridge while they are asleep. If anyone did something bad to her mums, she would punch the 💩 out of the baddies. So, don’t be fool by her bashfulness. For she is fierce and mighty. You can now order my first children book. :: 2 of 12:: who is the happy hedgehog? Rolly is an orphaned hedgehog who was adopted by the bunnies. She has yet to meet another hedgehog. But she is never lonely. She is best friend with Tiny (see previous posts) . She’s a little bossy and excels in persuading anyone to do what she wants. In fact, with a smile like Rolly’s, she can rule the world. On the rare occasion when she longs for her own kind, she would howl softly ‘Oooo Oooo’ to hide her sadness. And yes, you can now order my children book. Some initial draft sketches done by @fernchoonetillus for #tinycanhelp the book. Looking at these and I felt torn. It's like choosing your favourite pup. They all look so cute. How can I choose? 😳😭 Having said that, I think I already have my favourite Tiny in this sketch. https://www.instagram.com/p/CHgK6lqlmx0/?igshid=fml1w8112t1y

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
I wrote a blog on The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Read on …
It’s a very short book as I started reading while waiting for my flight in Bangkok airport. I finished it within days. As a slow reader, it takes me weeks or months to finish a book. So, I’d suggest this book to anyone who doesn’t read or to whoever wants to get back to reading a book again.
The story-telling itself is straight forward with a very clear core message. It’s advice to the…

What I Talk About When I Talk About Running - Haruki Murakami
What I Talk About When I Talk About Running – Haruki Murakami
This is the 5th book I had read by Haruki Murakami. Not one of my favourites by him but if you read it like a self-help, it could be beneficial. As it’s actually his memoir.
Haruki is also one of those few authors who I have read more than one of their books. The others being J. K. Rowling, Terry Pratchett, Isobelle Carmody and Mark Z. Danielewski.

Kafka on the Shore is still my favourite by…

Man's Search for Meaning - An Introduction to Logotherapy
Man’s Search for Meaning – An Introduction to Logotherapy
This is a famous book written by Victor Frankl which outlines his experience living in the concentration camp during the Holocaust. And this experience helped him developed his theories on logotherapy.
I am sure most people have heard and understood what a psychoanalysis therapy is. To explain what logotherapy is, I find it easier to just compare the both below:
Psychoanalysis Therapy – During…

The Lights in The Tunnel
The Lights in The Tunnel
The writer, Martin Ford, tries to explain the paradox of market demand and automation using the example of lights in the tunnel. I won’t try to do the same here. However, I will put it simply, if jobs are automated and less people are employed as a results. And without income from employment, there will be no market demand.
Why would business then invest in increased production?
The optimistic…

Book Review: A Whole New Mind

I recently finished reading a book: A Whole New Mind by Daniel H. Pink. The book explores the question on:
Why right brainers will rule the future?
He took us back to a day and age when industrial revolution started a transition from hand production methods to machines. And then later on, we had the digital revolution, which marked the onset of information age.
So what’s next after the…

Every time I walk past this little courtyard in CentraPark, I see how people would use the giant Jenga in many ways. I have seen them being lined up for Domino show. Some kids built block castles. A wall was built and a family surround themselves inside it. Last month Jen and I decided to have a go after dinner at a ramen house next door. We just used them for a game of Jenga.
