i love the characters of the dream smp! i sure hope no one sees any of the nuanced villains for anything black and white and realize even if they’ve done unjustifiable things there is a side to every single story, which is a unique opportunity that the dream smp allows people to do since you get to see practically every single point of view on the server! and i sure hope everyone has a sense of nuance when dissecting characters and tries to see both sides! :)

something about how the fall is so wilbur is really what kills me. like it’s this undeniable political messaging that you hear when he’s rambling on phil’s streams and this grandiousity that you see in the arg and the cinematic aspect seen in how he presents his dream smp character and the jamming aspect that’s all you alright? and the sheer misery that is ycgma and it’s poetic and gorgeous like all those edgar allen poe poems and indie band lyrics he’s loved and spread throughout his work. like it is him condensed and fit into this beautiful song that already resonates with me so much, and rather than it being separate from other aspects of his career or leaving those behind, it’s all of them at once.
