When a small kid decks their shit and starts screaming, it's apparently useful to ask them "are you more scared or more hurt?" because they might actually pause the shrieking to understand that adults might not automatically know what they are feeling, and that they can and should use words to communicate whether they need emotional support or medical attention.

I wonder if it could be applied to tumblr. Asking shrieking people "are you disagreeing with what OP said, or are you mad about the way they worded it?"

“my teenage child is so selfish” is an interesting thing I only see online moms say about their daughters. I’ve never seen one say it about their son. Why do I say this? Every single member of the cast is above 20. Pomni is 25, Ragatha is 30, Jax and Zooble are 22, Gaggle is 26, and Kinger is 48.

They all have jobs and are adults. There's no time in their lives for whimsy in their lives, filled with taxes and rent.

What Caine needs are younger people, high-schoolers for example. Most are sufficiently able to take care of themselves, easily entertained, are creative and willing to go with the flow.

I mean have you seen isekai fiction? They get sent to another world and they're like "Well, I guess I live here now".

They'd be perfectly happy chasing after some bandits for syrup, shooting each other in the face with guns or gathering the gloinks. As long as you can keep their very sporadic attention, they're happy.

The main problem is their parents who would be worried sick about them. They have something called school and not having an exit would be... not good.

Anyways, TedTalk over, I really like this show. 10/10 watch.
