Woe, another Zelda x Etrian Odyssey portrait edit be upon ye

This time it’s Hilda, from a Link Between Worlds! The Sovereign ever

#etrian odyssey #eo portrait edit #legend of Zelda #loz albw #aka the best top down one don’t fight me #I like eôw a lot too but the UI is kinda killing me #like I get what they were going for with letting players scroll so they might see and pick different choices #but it just boiled down to ^most recent + occasional extra scrolling^#and you don‘t even get a proper lexicon to check if you actually collected them all :<#meanwhile albw had her and Ravio and a water temple I actually enjoyed #anyways I‘m pretty sure Hilda over here makes the 5th character now. PREV?? THANK YOU!?? No fr cuz you're actually one of my favorite Zelda artists and your art always looks so unbelievably good, so whenever your stuff shows up it's like ":O!!. Like, it's just art goals, y'know? So, uhh. Yea. Thanks, it means a lot

I don‘t exactly…go here anymore, to make it short, but unfortunately I did recently make an ao3 account, went to clear my flood of open ao3 windows, and found old fics about LU!Twilight that I remember were low-key bangers. Also one where Epona got hurt, how dare you, ouch. So I had to get this outta my system.

Probs wouldn‘t even have drawn this if it were any other character but LU!Twilight is an AU version of specifically Twilight, aka best Link (no I don’t take criticism). Also if the fact multiple Zelda tags are getting flooded again to the point of more lu than Zelda is anything to go by, there’s apparently some event going on rn. Which means I can hide this in between floods of posts! :D (…seriously tho please stop clout-chasing T-T)

Anyways. Epona best girl who deserves everything in the world

Sword Spirit Miku

(wow tumblr botched this quality way more than usual, oof)

Or rather Bident Spirit, in this case! Picked that weapon as an obvious reference to her hair, but also because they somewhat resemble the shape of a tuning fork. Plus, the extra length of a bidents’ "holding staff part" compared to tuning forks fits with mic stands. The actual bident part is supposed to be made up of energy, similar to the Ancient weapons of BOTW/TOTK.

Wanted to go with a look that is more reminiscent of the ancient robots compared to Fi, what with her being a voice bank and all, though that particular triangle pattern on the sleeves and legs can also be seen in some art for Miku. Also thought about her "skin"tone maybe being the beige of the ancient robots to make it look closer to regular Miku, but decided against it to keep some of that Sword Spirit otherwordliness.

All of this came from me playing Skws and going "y‘know Fi‘s singing kinda reminds me of Miku lol“

Anyways, constructive criticism and maybe design tips are appreciated!

Lol?#I mean the design‘s fine but this isn‘t exactly a magical sword #but sure. why not younger me #preeeetty sure I tried drawing her wider than fi too #but I sucked more at anatomy back then than now if my other drawings around that time are anything to go by #I still like the spiky choker and how that metal cape goes around the biggoron symbol #actually don’t even think she‘d look too different nowadays #maybe played with giving her some sorts of screws or joints that hold the cape in place on her shoulders #so she can actually move her nonexistent arms #but that‘d be more fitting if she were a fan spirit and not sword I think #(or that random fairy inside the Gale Boomerang)#+ the rigidness fits methinks #fi already kicks her enemies for the most part without using arms #why not her too
