Saddest thing ever is reading an academic paper about a threatened or declining species where you can tell the author is really trying to come up with ways the animal could hypothetically be useful to humans in a desperate attempt to get someone to care. Nobody gives a shit about the animals that “don’t affect” us and it seriously breaks my heart

Kiribaku Fic Rec List
Hey all! I decided to make my own fic rec list too! I tried to make this list as unique and different as much as possible, I tried to avoid all those fics that made it to everyone’s list, but there’s only so much I can do lol.
things soft and precious : One-Shot: Mitsuki watching Katsuki fall in love. This fic shows the development of Bakugou’s feelings towards Kirishima through Mitsuki’s eyes.
Freshly Ground Coffee : Short Multi : Pro-Hero Bakugou visits a coffee shop in disguise so he won’t be recognized and ends up falling in love with a #1 Ground Zero fan barista!
Life’s a Drag(on) : One Shot: A red dragon ends up in his backyard, a new incredibly hot/sweet neighbor to his left that he’s quickly falling in love with, and conflicting with himself on who his best man should be.
I can Remember It for You: Multi : Alternative Universe. Nier Automata. Bakugou forgets Kirishima while on a mission, Kirishima is determined to make him fall in love with him again. (Highly Rec)
White Lies Always Blow Up: Multi- In order to avoid the cliché of Kirishima falling in love with Todoroki, Bakugou volunteers to fake date Todoroki, only to realize his own feelings for Kirishima.
Captured Memories: Multi-Series, Part 1 of 11 Breath of the Wild Au. Bakugou wakes up with no memories of his past. While recollecting his lost memories, he realizes he’s forgotten the most important person to him.
I wasn’t looking for love (but there you were) One shot: Bakugou’s bored train rides got a little more interesting when he had friend to complain to. Even if they didn’t talk and were always separated by a few people in between.
By love’s blind chance we’ve been bound: Short Multi Witcher Au: A reunion of two lovers who thought the other was dead. Only for one to realize it wasn’t the first time they’ve met since the tragic accident.
My Boy: Short Multi: 15 year old Bakugou falls in love with another 15 year old boy, and is surprised how easily love feels to him
The Second Task One shot, Part 1 of Harry Potter Au Series: Bakugou is short when it comes to people who are inconsiderate and will do anything in his power to make the one person who matters to him happy, sure the hufflepuff gang, the Bakusquad, can join in on that too.
Ad Atla Ad Astra One-shot. Modern day clashes with Greek Mythology, with the classic love story of Hades and Persephone.

The Dragons I Know
This one is one of the incomplete ones, I always wanted to write it, but I never get the motivation to keep writing it, or well, I kept rewriting the beg. part like all the time.
He doesn’t know when the boy first appeared in his visions, maybe it was when he first fell from that log, leading a group of wannabes with him in a pretend adventure. Or perhaps it was when he climbed that tree and fell as soon as a branch gave from his weight.
Both lead him to an unconscious state, both he remembers being in a complete white room, with a boy with raven hair looking at nothing, back turned to Katsuki.
He wasn’t scared, he was six years old, he had no reason to be afraid, but he was still cautious approaching the boy who seemed to have not noticed him at all.
“Hey!” Well, cautious wasn’t exactly the word anyone would use for Katsuki loud, intrusive attitude, but he was still wary of the boy in front of him.
The raven-haired boy turns his head, just slightly, he blinks those large eyes of his, outlined with thick lashes. His eyes we’re red as his.
It took a second for the other boy to process what he was seeing, then his eyes widen, and soon enough he turns fully around to face Katsuki.
“Whoa! How are you here?” The boy is up, but he immediately clasps his hands behind him, with a wide smile, he waits for Katsuki to answer.
Katsuki looks around, the place still void of anything but the color of milky white.
“I don’t know.” He remembers saying, “I think this is a dream.”
“Ah, a dream.” The boy looks around their white surroundings, and for a minute, Katsuki wonders what this all dream means. “If it were a dream, that mean you could imagine anything right?”
Katsuki shrugs his shoulders, he never had a dream like this before, they’ll usually fuzzy in memory, strange events happening on after another.
“Guess not here.” He tries to imagine his room, something warm and safe. But when that doesn’t work, he tries to think of another place, some where fun, a place he runs too when he’s angry or frustrated.
But it doesn’t work either.
“What are you thinking about? Maybe I could change it all.”
“Some wild grass field, there’s one near my home.” He answers, still clutching his fingers into fist, and shutting his eyes tightly to conjure it up.
But with one blink from the other kid, the world did change. The both of them stand just a head above the wild grass, Katsuki can even feel the wind grazing past them.
“Whoa! How did you did that? It looks just like how it really is!”
The raven head looked shocked, like he didn’t realize he had the power to change their surroundings, and one to look exactly how Katsuki knows his home looked like.
“I don’t know.” The raven-haired man says, “I just...could see it through your eyes.” He mutters, turning around again and again. He touches the grass carefully, and Katsuki notices how happy the other boy looked.
“What’s your name anyways?” Katsuki pushes through the grass, but it seemed to move away from him as he walks toward the other kid.
“My name?” The boys looks up from the yellow grass, wind now blowing his black hair away from his eyes. They were super cute.
“You can call me…” The boy hesitates, humming to himself as he thinks about his name. Which Katsuki finds weird, but this is a dream, a dream he’ll forget soon anyways. “Ei.”
“Ei.”
It was the first time he met Ei, and definitely not the last, after months he realizes that the dream, wasn’t at all a dream. But he didn’t know exactly what he would call it.
And after years of meeting Ei in his sleep, well, Katsuki was sure there was something more than what Ei played it off as.
When they were seventeen, or at least when Katsuki was seventeen, he finally asked Ei to be honest with him, to tell him the whole truth.
“What are you Ei?”
“Aren’t I just your dream?” He laughs, which was still as beautiful from when they first met, the only difference now was that Ei’s hair was red. The male had asked Katsuki to imagine him with it, all spiked up and all.
“Ei.” He says, seriously. He glares at the male sitting by his side, this time they’re in a green grass field, where the grass never grows any longer than a few inches.
“Okay, okay, guess you can’t keep your oblivious child-like mind forever huh?”
Katsuki frowns deepens, meaning there has been something more to these dreams. A warmth flows through him, raising to his head, it’s a feeling he’s familiar with. Anger.
But he gives Ei the benefit of the doubt.
When Ei doesn’t get a reply back from Katsuki, he sighs, his smile slowly falling apart.
“There’s a lot to explain.”
“I have time.”
Ei’s smile comes back.
“Next time.”
And he’s right.
Katsuki wakes up in the same place he fell asleep. Leaning against the trunk of a tree, and away from the rest of his group who are now all packing their stuff. He sighs, yeah, sure next time.
Next time doesn’t come as soon as he wished it did. His meetings with Ei don’t come as frequently as he wants, and it doesn’t happen on command. Sometimes he thinks it’s Ei who needs to reach out, but even the other male has no control over it.
Or so he says, and Katsuki has reason to believe him. Ei doesn’t lie, he diverges from the truth is all. Avoids questions and all that sort of stuff.
The next time they do meet, is when Katsuki is exhausted from a battle him and the Dekusquad had to go through, all realizing that the enemies they’re facing are becoming stronger and stronger.
“Hi.” Ei says, this time they’re back in a white void.
“Hey.” Katsuki never feels the exhaustion in this world, he thinks it’s thanks to Ei.
“So, it’s been awhile huh?”
“Yeah, why is that?” He doesn’t mean to be aggressive and blame Ei, but sometimes it’s hard when the other male he’s known his entire life ignores him.
“I don’t have control over that.” Ei laughs dryly, he does take a step back from Katsuki though as he turns around, back facing him.
“What does?”
“I honestly don’t know.” Ei looks down at his hand, flexing it a couple of times, “Honestly Katsuki, I don’t know half of the things why things happen. But I’ll tell you everything I do know.”
“Including on who you are?” Bakugou frowns, pout in display, and Ei smiles wider.
Ei, also known as Kirishima Eijirou is a man stuck in this white world. He doesn’t know why he’s stuck here, or how Bakuogu became part of his world. Or occasionally became part of his world.
He doesn’t know why Bakugou pops in at random times, there was never a pattern Bakugou could follow. One Eijirou couldn’t figure out.
“But what are you Ei?”
Eijirou’s stressed, but despite that, he still carries that stupid genuine smile.
“You mean you never heard of my name before?”
“Kirishima Eijirou?” Bakugou says, wondering what the red head meant, but he says the name again and again in his head, trying to think or recall the name. “No, I don’t think I can say I do.”
There’s disappointment in Ei, but the male tries not to let it show too much.
“What’s wrong?”
“No nothing,” Kirishima laughs, “just that, I was this great dragon…”

The Dragons I Know
I'm writing different one shots, alternative universes of the Fantasy Universe| 2nd Popularity Poll.  Allot of these are just ideas that ended up incomplete. This is Part 2
Bakugou enjoyed moments like these, relaxing under the shade of the large tree leaves. Sun peeking through just enough to give his bare torso warmth, his back pressed against a soft cushion on an oversized lizard that’s lazing in the same river as him.
The noises are calming, bugs and birds, the sound of fishes flapping and swimming away from the large beast Kirishima was.
Despite being the color red, the dragon enjoyed most of his days in water. But since Bakugou had forced the dragon to follow him to the ends of the earth, Kirishima rarely gets these chances.
The people they encounter, the monsters they faced are all quick to assume that Kirishima was a flying dragon, wings ripped away from years of fighting, or abuse.
Little they know the red scaled lizard was in fact a water dragon. Ears absent in favor of fines, and the fact the dragon has the capability to retract the ones that slide across in spine, Kirishima was very much a water dragon.
His wings were shaped that way for camouflage purposes, and if Bakugou looked closer at the dragon underneath water, he can very much tell that the dragon
Even his humongous muscled body speaks for how many years the dragon had spent in the water, swimming and pushing against the water.
But just because everyone in this world was stupid to assume Kirishima was anything but, didn’t mean Bakugou was gonna lecture them about what kind of dragon he was.
That would give away too many weaknesses, and he’s not about to throw his best friend into a volcano.
But enough of that, picking himself up from his back, Bakugou looks ahead, ignoring how the dragon is swirling his head was he swims, a little habit of his when he’s too happy.
The greenery surrounding them is luscious and completely beautiful, looking to deep into the forest Bakugou finds it’s hard to see anything but trees and green. Even on a river, they are separated from the earth.
Getting on all fours, knees digging into the rough scales, Bakugou crawls closer to the dragon’s head, completely falling on to his neck with a sigh.
With his legs and arms on one side and the other, Bakugou dips his fingers into the water below him, Kirishima is particular half submerge.
The water is cold, despite the heat raining down on it. The shade and the consent movement are what probably keeps the water feeling as fresh as it was.
“Can you survive in any types of water?” The barbarian traveler muses, not at all expecting an answer from his companion.
But the dragon picks up his head just slight, water in large amounts fall back into its larger body, even a small fish that was nibbling at Kirishima’s jaw falls back into the river.
The dragon twists it’s head just so, looking to Bakugou’s own eyes with it’s own golden.
Yeah, hot, cold, salt or fresh, my body adapts to wherever I am.
There was a point in Bakugou’s life where he felt uncomfortable with just hearing Kirishima’s voice in his mind, or well, it wasn’t even a voice that spoke, Bakugou’s own thoughts had conjured up exactly what Kirishima wanted to say. But now, he welcomes it, it’s warm and nice to have another voice in his head for once.
Especially Kirishima.
Probably only Kirishima.
Bakugou hums, simply acknowledging the dragon, fingers sinking deeper into the water. The river is likely dangerous, with the amount of unknown fish and sea creatures in it. But Kirishima is here, and he can sense anything with ill intent.
So, he feels safe.
Much like bull sharks.
Raising a brow, eyes now closed, he frowns. Without moving anything else, he simply grumps out, “What are bull sharks?” There are still creatures in the world that he hasn’t seen or read about. Creatures that both live in the plains down west, and the creatures living in the deep sea.
He images a bull first, big and dark, horns large and then he imagines a shark combined with it. Maybe it was a bull with a fish tail. Or maybe it was shark that carried horns in the ocean.
Just a normal shark. Kirishima laughs, like he could read Bakugou’s mind. Which he can’t, he’s tried.
“Then why call it a bull shark?”
They like to head butt anything that comes their way.
“Oh.”

The Dragons I Know
I'm writing different one shots, alternative universes of the Fantasy Universe| 2nd Popularity Poll.  A llot of these are just ideas that ended up incomplete. This is part 1.
The abandon tower was once part of a beautiful castle, the rest of it had completely disappeared through time and age. If Bakugou had not know the history of this village he would have never known an old kingdom had once prospered here.
The ruins, or could even call it that? Since there literally was almost nothing left. Well, anyways, the dirt underneath his boots felt different. Instead of the earthy thick soil, he felt more stationed on the path to the tower.
The castle must have been buried underneath, it was likely nature had taken back what was stolen from them, covering up a kingdom many have forgotten about.
There was rumors of the tower leading to an underground treasure. But one not easily found. There was a monster underneath this rubble. One that ferocious and easily angered when one trespassed its land.
Bakugou had respect for that, he would hate it if humans started to come in to his own to take his shit.
Which brings him to why hes here.
The creature, the monster, just from pure curiosity, he wanted to know what it was. And if he's seen it before.
He loves a good fight, a good trespassing monster slaying. But most of all, he loves the creatures that roam the world...excluding the humans, elves, fae, goblin and fairies. All of them thought too much alike, and because of that, those assholes were constantly at war with one another.
Why couldn't they simply coexist like the rest of the world?
There was only one opening into the ruined tower, and that was a previous dug hole, by a man simply intrigued of what was left behind.
Finding the hole was easy, but looking into the opening, Bakugou was a bit skeptic, it was complete darkness leading to the unknown.
But he's never been afraid of the dark.
He falls, completely to the unknown, and with his magic igniting his hand, he was able to see exactly when he was going to hit the floor.
Falling feet first, he landed comfortable with a roll to reduce any damage on his body. He wouldnt have been able to use his magic without the risk of closing his only known exit.
Darkness is still present, but following the echo of wind for a good twenty minutes, he found himself surrounded with mounted lit torches.
"Weird." He mutters, unless someone had arrived before him, it shouldn't have been impossible for these torches to be lighted from months ago, since the last known guy to come down and never resurface.
Information he should keep in mind, for all he knows the last person here could have offed the monster and could be living in these treasures.
Maybe he became cursed, or completely obsessed with the treasure that he couldn't possibly leave from.
So he should keep an eye not only for a monster but for a human too.
The empty corridors proves Bakugou's previous theory correct. The castle was indeed within the ground, fallen, and submerged into the earth. There was entryway completely closed off, and some crumbled brick and ash were pushed into the corners...which was odd.
Because...well...it was oddly clean down here.
Blinking with conflicting thoughts, Bakugou had moved to grab his sheathed sword, pulling at its hilt, he carefully takes his steps forward.
Although he finds no one. At least not a human.
On top of a mountain of rubble and trash, before Bakugou eyes, was a dragon, a red, breathtaking dragon.
"Holy shit" he whispers, letting his sword go, causing it to slide back to its home. Standing straighter than his attack position.
Bakugou quickly drops his head, shutting his eyes, he places his left hand, curled in lightly on his forehead. The other hand, his right, is flat over his heart. A sign of respect.
His people have treasured the dragons for hundreds of years. They were a sign of prosperity, lividity, and power to his people. Overall they represented the warmth and heart of his culture.
Bakugou may not follow many traditions in his family, but since he was a young brat, he adored the tales of the dragons.
When his mother was younger, younger than he is now, there was war that started out of jealously. Many were jealous of favoritism the dragons had given to his tribe.
And to protect both the tribe and the dragons it was decided that the dragons would leave to find a new home where they would be safe and at peace.
The dragon has noticed his presence, at first, the dragon huffs but once the creature gave Bakugou a better look it lifted his head, now interested.
Bakugou came here out of pure curiosity, maybe a little fight if the creature didnt let him leave.
But a dragon, and beauty like the one in front of them, was completely unexpected. Bakugou wasn't entirely sure where the dragons had flown off to. But to find one here?
He wants to give the dragon better than this.
The dragon stands, causing the rubble to fall, but Bakugou stays put in his stance, head still bowed, eyes still closed.
There's a loud thump and the dragon causes a draft from simply moving, he feels the creature getting closer, the air he exhales his hot on Bakugou's face, but the man stays put.
He's not afraid, he's never been so defenseless before, but he's not afraid.
"Why do you do this?" A voice that startles him, causes him to open his eyes and look at the man infront of him. Although they were relatively the same height, the other male's eyes held so much wisdom.
The dragon is gone. And in his place was this red head male, he had a heavy accent, his torso bare like his own, and covered with scars. There was even one just over his right eye.
Bakugou is smart enough to know who the man in front of him was.
"Out of respect."
"You dont even know who I am."
"You're existence is enough."
"Is it?" The red head looks away, expression now sad. "Why did you come here?"
Bakugou who bows slightly and says a quick prayer before he drops his hands.
"Curiosity."
"About a dragon?"
"About what was down here."
"To take my 'treasure' then?"
"I'm not interested."
The dull red in the dragons eyes changed, brightening only slightly. "Am I interesting enough?"
"More."

I have a writers block, so I started thinking up with an idea.
Like it isn’t really shippy, but like I’m thinking like some angst because that’s how my mind works. But like it’s Kiribaku, nice and beautiful and filled with love, but Kirishima, the trusty dragon dies in battle or smth, and it should be a story about grief and moving forward in life, and like finding happiness again, maybe not in the romantic love like he did with Kirishima, but in friends, in nature, in life, and urgh now I want to write it.

Shut Up, I’m not Scared!
Hey! I just finished, a certain part of School Briefs, (pretty sure it was Chapter 13 in the way the site I use is formatted) and turns out, Bakugou hates scary stories, or so it’s implied, so I wrote this real quick!
“She dropped me off just at the end of the street,” Mina continues with her storytelling, or for that matter, an actual ghost story that has been following her for years now.
Usually Bakugou wouldn’t be one to join shit like this, he won’t admit to himself, any less his friends, but fucking stories like this, scary ones, horror and ghost a like just didn’t suit well with him. They always gave him an unwanted thrill, a fear that prickled him.
But he stayed goddammit, first it was for that shitty red head, who begged for Bakugou to come join the rest of the ‘Bakusquad’ in the lounge area, using those famous puppy eyes of his, like what the fuck. At times those eyes of his reminded him of a Shiba Inu, a little dog with little eyebrows just like Kirishima’s own.
Kirishiba, he huffs, laughing at his own pun.
That’s beside the point, Kirishima had stuck to his side for the beginning of the night before he scooted closer to Mina to hear her story better, so there was no real reason for him to stay since his only incentive had left him.
Though if he walked out now, he would probably be called a sacredly-cat for leaving in the middle of Mina’s stupid story. Sure, he could always act cold, brush it off, but he was sure that Kaminari would mention it, and fuck that idiot knew his weakness, he’ll tease him and try to do that reverse psychology shit.
“As I passed the first house, the darkness seemed to get thicker, heavier even, it felt like I could climb on top of it, walk on it.”
He had no real reason to be afraid, a lot of the shit they were spewing was load of bullshit, exaggerated to make the story more enticing.
They pull all the tricker, using the fact they’re all going to die one day, darkness, even fucking shit like bugs are enough to pull anyone to fear and anxiety. They use the darkness, something that relates the brain to rest and sleep, relaxation, using your comfort against you. Throwing you into the unimageable in pure darkness when you’re greatest sense is gone, sight.
“And I could feel like someone was walking behind me as soon as I passed the second home, I did the trick with the makeup mirror, opening it up and looking at the reflection behind me. And there was no one, not a single person, but as soon as I was about to close the mirror, I swear on my life a black shadow moved.”
“It was just your fucking shadow.” Bakugou comments, stiff in his words as he was tensed.
Mina shakes her head rapidly, “Na-uh, I swear, there was no lamp post or anything, but I swore there was this like, black mass or something.”
“Someone was pulling a fucking prank on you with their quirk.” He says next, trying to calm his own nerves.
“What a shitty person.” Jirou says, calmly as she twirls one of her earlobe jacks.
“Guys!” Mina pouts, crossing her arms, “Let me finish!”
Bakugou groans, but waves his hand nonetheless, letting her finish as he falls back on to the sofa, looking at Kirishima who looked completely entranced with this sort of shit.
“Anyways!” Mina quickly says before anyone else has anything else to say. “I was almost home, I could see my neighbor’s house, so I started to walk faster, taking larger steps and all, I was practically running.”
She fastens her speech, like she was losing her audience and wanted to get the story to end, which thank fucking god.
“And as soon as I got to my doorstep, key out and all, I felt safe, I made it, I remember thinking but as soon as I entered the key into it’s whole, I felt my entire body freeze up, chills on my spine, and for a second I swore I could feel a hot puff of air on the top of my head.” Mina gives the audience an example, puffing once before continuing on.
“I shrieked and swung a fist, uppercut style,” she says proudly, but soon slumps her shoulders, “but there was no one.”
“Please tell you had it all video tapped.”
“Yeah! Security camera’s bitch!” Mina snapped her fingers, “it even records a separate video using infrared! You know, for those invisible using quirks? Well guess what? There was absolutely nothing caught! No body, no heat signature! No nothing!”
“Not even the puff of air on your head?” Kirishima as, flattening down a hand on the newly washed hair.
But Mina shakes her head, “None, I thought for sure I would catch something…but holy shit I thought I was gonna die, because the next thing I knew, I felt…” she shrugs her shoulders, “I don’t know, I felt free, the darkness didn’t look to dark anymore either, and that feeling of being watched? It was gone.”
“It was your brain cell kicking in.” Bakugou jokes, which Mina simply glares as Kaminari and Sero were the only one’s snickering.
“Sorry about that, I was sure it was my day to use it.” Sero joins in, causing Bakugou to even snicker.
“Okay, okay my turn!” Kaminari stands up, shooing Mina from her original seat.
“What? Go tell it from there!” She points from where Kaminari came from, but the blond wasn’t having it, pushing Mina causing her to fall to the side.
“My turn.” He says, plopping himself down while Mina whined about being injured, Kirishima gave her a smile of reassurance before the girl decided to take a seat next to Bakugou and away from the other idiots.
“Kaminari this better not be I thought I was home a lone but guess my mom was there story.” Jirou leans back, arms behind her as she smiles at the blond who only pretends to laugh at Jirou’s joke.
“Very funny, but no, okay, get this guys, I was visiting my gramps on the country side,”
“Oh hell no.” Mina says, shaking her head and throwing her arms cross one another several times.
“What?” Bakugou glances at her, confused.
“That’s where all that real shit is, tell him Kirishima, tell him that’s where the real shit is at.”
“That’s where the real shit is at.” Kirishima confirms, nodding his head in affirmation at Bakugou, and soon after smiling at the blond with a quick wink.
“Well, then buckle up Mina, because you know this shit is about to be even more real.” Kaminari says, looking stupidly serious.
Bakugou then tenses, already feeling the fear from the hype the two were giving it. Fucking shittt.
It was during the summer, so the nights weren’t as cold as they usually were. Crickets and frogs could be heard left and right, yet not one in sight to be seen.
He was a kid, he explains that it was late, but his mother, auntie and cousin had stayed up to talk, play and keep them entertained since they, the kids, were having a hard time sleeping.
“Then out of nowhere, I got hungry,” he laughs, patting his stomach, “And I begged my mom over and over to take me to the kitchen to get some food, since we lived in those separated room homes? Where the bedroom was it’s own building…”
“Like fucking courtyards? Open air yards?” Bakugou comments, not realizing that he’s speaking more often than usual.
“Yeah!” Kaminari smiles in graditide, “Well anyways, my mom told me to shut it but my auntie felt bad for me, and told me she’ll take me. So she picks me up.”
“Wait hold are you?” Sero stops him, creating a curious crowd.
“I was like, uh, probably seven? Six?”
“This could have been a dream!” Mina groans in annoyance, “are you sure this is real?”
“Yes! Yes it’s real!” Kaminari says, irritated now, “guys come on! I didn’t interrupt you Mina!”
Mina hums, asking for forgiveness and as soon as Kaminari accepts, he continues on.
“She was holding on to me, and as soon as we walk into the pathway to the kitchen there was this little thing by one of the walls. Just standing there, looking at us. It had a little ball on his hands, I’m pretty sure it was a football my cousin and I were kicking around earlier that day!”
The creature was hunched, or so says Kaminari, looked at both him and his aunt with a looking spooked like it didn’t expect either of them to come out so late. Before Kaminari could even figure out what he was looking at, his auntie had grabbed a baseball bat, another toy the kids had left around and started swinging it, yelling out words Kaminari couldn’t understand.
The creature then straighten it’s back, looking even more shocked than before, but the ball was still in their hands, holding it tightly, just a moment away from popping from it’s sharp claws.
Kaminari’s badass aunt had started marching towards it, Kaminari’s young brain still not yet comprehending what he was seeing, or even understanding why his aunt was so scared as she started swinging harder and faster.
It seemed like the creature finally got the hint his aunt was gonna beat his ass, as it turned around and started the attempt of climbing what Kamanari said was a concrete wall. The ball was now passed in one of his hands, trying to climb with it, but when it realized it couldn’t he had to let the ball go.
It climbed to the very top, turning back around on it’s fours to look at the two before jumping to the other side.
“After that, I got my snack and we made it back inside no problem, turns out my mom had her own adventures too! Said they found a nasty looking spider, like good thing I wasn’t there! I would’ve passed out!”
“Wait,” Bakugou backtracks, not at all noticing he was holding in a breath before talking, “what the fuck was the thing?”
Kaminari took a second to think before shrugging his shoulders, like it didn’t matter. “I dunno.”
“Dude!” Kirishima pipes up, “how could you be so chill? That’s creepy!”
“Hey man, it was years ago, and I haven’t seen or experienced any weird shit since then!”
“It could have been a hyosube.” Jirou had her phone out, the only light source causing her face to be luminated. “You could be cursed for life buddy.”
Kaminari playfully plays her off, “Come on Jirou, don’t say that.”
“Fucking stupid is what this is, I’m going to sleep.” Two scary stories were enough right? He doesn’t need this shit, and he’s sure if he hears another one of those fucking stories, he wouldn’t be getting any sleep tonight.
Kirishima nods in affirmation, “Yeah guys, Imma call it a night too!” he hops up from his seat and trails behind Bakugou.
The remaining four watch the two go, and as soon as they walk into the elevator close, Mina quickly whips her head back to the other three.
“Tots saw how Bakugou was hella tensed right?”
Jirou hums in confirmation, “Dude wouldn’t stop talking, he was totally nervous.”
“Come on guys leave him alone, the dude can’t be all perfect.”

Okay um update, I just watched the 2nd movie again, and they had Kirishima use his hardening to hold Asui's toxins and I'm like okay, anything else to add to the list?
I got another headcanon about Kirishima...
So like the kid is unbreakable and he's done some crazy shit already, like we've seen him throw himself off a building, we've seen him slammed against concrete walls, facing Rappa's quirk, running through fire, and his quirk description says "he is resistant to strikes, heat, and shock waves" and also from the 2nd movie he was able to hold his own by that villains laser like flame breath!
Anyways my point is, or my headcanon is, Kirishima's been through alot with his quirk and after 3 years of this in UA, I headcanon this kid is incredibly reckless. Like 100% reckless. Like oh the button to stop the world from exploding is in an active volcano? Okay let me just go dive in there.
He doesn't even think, like oh sorry that building is falling? I got you. The only way off this plane is to fall amd there's no parachute? Not even a problem.
And my headcanon is like this boy don't even know if he can take it!!! He just gonna shrug his shoulders and pray to whatever God he believes in and just do it. And everyone is just SO WORRIED FOR HIM. Like kiri no!
Wanna hold the antenna outside to get a better signal during a thunderstorm? Yeah okay, hold his coat because he doesn't want it to get wet....does he even get cold? The kid was running out to the snow with his shirt mid way off!!!

Pillar
An actual Hero fic idea, incomplete, and a theme I loveeeee, because Kirishima’s quirk is perfect for it.  oh and its incomplete
Okay, so a terrorist group blows up a district, causing lots of buildings to collapse. Bakugou was just done fighting one of the villains, leaving to show up in the middle of it. He’s breathing heavily, not just because of the recent fight, because of the call for help.
Kirishima’s mic signal had went silent with static after a loud crash. Another building had fallen, and Bakugou is pretty sure Kirishima was near enough to get stuck in it.
He knows his best friend is fine, he’s unbreakable, but he’s still worried for the idiot, he always is. As soon as he arrives he sees Uraraka screaming orders left and right, people picking up blocks of cement and shit, wood and steel, trying to dig into the collapse to find civilians.
“We can’t locate Red Riot, let me know if you have any infromation on him!” Uraraka speaks to her own mic, Bakugou can hear her clearly from his own mic.
“Where the fuck was he before the fucking building fell?” Bakugou comes up behind her, Uraraka only shakes her head, no one knows exactly where.
Bakugou doesn’t know how to help, his quirk can only make it worse, and his patience isn’t strong enough for him to start digging and hoping for the best.
Uraraka is doing her best to manage everyone, it’s her forte, but she looks so stressed and scared too. Like she’s not enough, like her decisions won’t save enough lives. and Bakugou is too fucking stressed to handle that right now. He needs to find his best friend.
Then out of no where there’s a static, and just a bit, Bakugou can hear his voice. It’s low, and barely audible, but he knows his best friend voice, he knows how it sounds when he’s sleepy, and when he just woke up. He knows how low Kirishima’s voice gets when he’s eating his favorite food.
“Kirishima!” He responds back, quick and ready to hear for any response...but all he get’s in response is more static. “Shit!”
“How long as he been under?” he knows that before he got into the villain fight that building was still up. What he doesn’t know is when it went down, and how long it’s been down.
“Almost an hour at this point.” Uraraka responds, a little nervous now. There has been smog and dust clouds everywhere that hasn’t been down for at least half an hour, they found civilians covered in grime and dust, they will definitely have lung problems after all this shit.
Anxiety starts to raise in Bakugou, he needs to see Kirishima, he needs to find him. He needs to do something to find Kirishima if he doesn’t find him...If he doesn’t...
Static starts up again, and Bakugou knows it’s Kirishima, it has to be Kirishima. “Shitty technology.” When will they finally have technology that won’t be shit.
“He’s been trying to contact us for an hour, we have to assume he’s okay.” Uraraka says, “So we need to focus in getting citizens out of this mess.”
Bakugou doesn’t like that idea, and selfishly says, “If he’s trying to contact us, it’s for a reason, he could be trapped down there with someone.” and he definitely shouldn’t be feeling jealous about that.
“Otherwise he could have gotten himself out.” There’s literally nothing Kirishima can’t get through. Uraraka immediately nods her head in agreement. It made sense, and when she agrees with Bakugou that Kirishima is also a priority.
Bakugou presses into his ear, just about ready to send a message to Kirishima, there’s a chance the idiot can hear him right?
But as soon as he does, static pops up again, but then a small, nervous noise picks up.
“Hello?” A little girl says, afraid. And Bakugou should be relieved that there’s some sort of a reply, but it’s not Kirishima’s, and that could mean so many horrible things.
Bakugou is frozen, he’s unsure what to say, so Uraraka picks up after him, answering the little girl from her own mic. “Hey hi! is red riot with you?”
He tries to think rationally, maybe Kirishima gave the girl his mic to reach a signal he couldn’t reach, maybe Kirishima gave the little girl his mic because he get through the smaller holes. But Fuck, why does he feel like...why does he feel like that maybe Kirishima is...
“No.” This girl responded, sounding a little more relieved than before, but Bakugou wants to cry. Why wasn’t Kirishima there, where was he, was he okay, he can’t, shit, stupid building, stupid people, stupid villains.
He wasn’t fast enough, he should have taken down that villain faster, he should have beenfaster, he would have figured out how to get rid of all that smog and smoke, if only he was faster, faster....
“He’s stuck with mommy and daddy.” she responds soon after, and Bakugou is breathing again, the fog in his own mind is gone, and that constricted feeling in his chest has loosens.
“Okay, okay, and where are you?” Uraraka’s voice is soft and sweet, it’s no wonder the girl was no longer freaking out, or at the verge of a breakdown.  The little girl hums, and Bakugou is silently annoyed, a little irrational he knows, the girl is trying her best, but his best friend needs him.
“I don’t know...but Mr. Red Riot said I needed to go up, and when I hear a voice to say we were....umm, we were in the north? North Wing before we fell.”
Bakugou is already on his way.
“Can you hear anything?” Uraraka is following right behind him using her anti-gravity quirk to avoid any wrong step. They hope she can hear anything, the ambulance, the sirens, the yellowing, the speakers.
“mmm, no.” the girls responds, and Bakugou is a little pissed off that no god is willing to give him a fucking break today.
“That’s okay sweetie? Is it safe where you are? If you’re scared, or feel unsafe, please go back to Mr. Red Riot.”
“mm’kay.” is the last thing the girl says, and Bakugou isn’t sure if it was the right decision, there’s a change the girl found herself completely separated from her family, and they’ll find the family first before her, or maybe where she was now was unstable, so it made sense to go back, so Bakugou hopes she makes it back safety.
Half an hour passes before they get their hands on some blueprints, trying to make sense of what they were seeing and how things were. One hero, a sidekick from an agency Bakugou has never heard of shows up and his quirk is a lot like Edgeshot.
They got him in there, and so they wait some more before moving anything to major. They only started to scrap off the top shit.
The sidekick comes back up, looked scared and rushed, “We need as little bodies off this area now!” He screams out, trying to get everyone’s attention. Everyone was quick to stop moving which pissed off Bakugou more. Kirishima has been under a whole lot of shit for about two hours now, they needed him out.
“What’s going on?” Uraraka responds, not all moving from her spot, cautious like one signal movement can set off a bomb.
“Red Riot is holding up this entire sector!”
Holy shit, wait what?
“There’s about 50 civilans down there with him, there’s a broken pillar, still intact with the cement it was placed in, holding at least 100 meters of the collapse! If we put any more weight on it, it’ll fall and crush everyone down there!”
“What do you mean he’s fucking it up?”
“The pillar, he grabbed hold of it while it was falling. If he lets it drop it could cause the cement above them to crack and fall apart over them. If he even moves, it could disturb anything over their head, then the only thing protecting them could call.”
“5o fucking people.” Bakugou sneers, turning away as he signals everyone out of the fucking zone, to step away from the center of destruction, “Then he’s directly below us?”
“Yes.”
“How long can he last?”
“Did you ask in front of all the extras?”
“...yes sir.”
Fucking shit, he’s trying to keep the civilians calm and hopeful. He’s already been down there for almost two hours now, he probably can’t hold all that shit for any much longer.
They devised a plan in a matter of seconds, agreeing to build a tunnel from the safest point.
Bakugou is starting to fucking grow even more impatient with the fact he can’t do shit. Sighing he tries to calm himself down, trying not worry about the stupid shit head who fucking thinks he can carry tons of concrete, and metal, and all the other fucking shit he’s carrying right now.
In another thirty minutes both tunnels finally found the civilians but before anyone even comes up from where they are down underground of pile of shit, he drops himself down there. Ready to find Kirishima and aid the idiot how ever he needs.
there’s praises left and right, he ignores them until he finds Kirishima through the little light he does have. and true to the sidekick, Kirishima was carrying the fucking ceiling and everything over it.
The pillar he’s holding is a steel structure, heavy and wow that’s sort of hot, but he’s. not. here. for. this. “Fucking shit, shitty hair.”
“Hey man.” Kirishima chuckles, but he looks so pale and tired, his muscles don’t look like their straining but he’s in a tense position, and his in his harden state.
Bakugou is sure there was no one else who could hold this the way Kirishima is. Super strength can get you so far, but with Kirishima’s harden, the idiot was a pillar himself.
“Who told you can carry tons of weight?”
Kirishima doesn’t even shrug, he’s sure Kirishima hasn’t even turned his head. “I dont know, my body sort of just moved.”
“Yeah I know the fucking feeling.” Bakugou says as he looks over to the amount of people down here, kids and woman are getting out of here first. Once everyone was out, and definitely far from this disaster, he’ll give this whole shit a big blast and boom, Kirishima is free.
There’s a stench of iron in the air, which he shouldn’t be surprised, there’s a literal steel pillar Kirishima is carrying, and there’s metal scraps here and there, and fuck why is it so strong around.
Turning to give Kirishima a better look, especially since his eyes are now adjusting to the darkness, and there he sees it. The pillar was broken, the end Kirishima was carrying was spiked, piercing into Kirishima’s body.
“I thought you harden...”
“Aw man, you weren’t supposed to know.”
“Why the fuck...is there a fucking pillar in you.”
Kirishima dryly laughs, not sure what to tell Bakugou. “I don’t move so fast in my harden state.”
“Fucking no, no, no, Fucking shit Kirishima!” he yells, but Kirishima only shushes him. Letting him know there’s still a lot of people within hearing shot.
“When everyone is out...”
“No.”
“Bakugou.”
And thats all I have because I’m sleepy, open ending, just make it happy. Thank you hahaha.
