Since the inception of the industrial era, business has moved in what Bhatt has referred to as the "sell/buy" approach. In other words a business, corporation, or even street vendor offers products for sale and the consumer purchased them. Marketing, advertising, branding and all other endeavors of business were designed to support this "sell/buy" mentality. Madison Avenue soon learned that the product was more important than the customer and the only part of the customer that truly matter was the customer's willingness to pay for the product.
Steven Bhatt calls this form of business entity, Economus corporatus literally "market of bodies". Bhatt states that if business entities are thought of as species, then Economus corporatus is a dinosaur born of the Industrial Revolution and the age of the dinosaur is over. Just as at the end of the Mesozoic era, the K-T asteroid struck the earth causing the mass extinction of dinosaurs. The world economy as seen two separate K-T type asteroid impacts on the global marketplace. Much as the best reptile resources online  first K-T asteroid heralded the death of the largest reptiles to occupy this planet, the economic K-T asteroids now herald the death of Economus corporatus.
What are the K-T asteroids of the modern economy? The first of these is the rise of what is commonly now known as the information age. The growth of the internet as well as the continuous and exponential growth of computing power, storage and most importantly bandwidth has transformed the market place and the very currency of market economies. In the industrial era the market place was dominated by product-based companies typical of species Economus corporatus.
Yet scurrying amongst the trampling feet of these Paleolithic behemoths of industry were the early warm blooded small service-oriented businesses. As the industrial era waned, giving rise to the service and information economies of the 1980s and 1990s, the number of these small service-oriented businesses grew exponentially. Finally, the availability of technology to support the exchange of information required to facilitate the explosion of service and information-based businesses vibrated as the first of the economic K-T asteroids impacted the world marketplace, the information age was born.
The second K-T asteroid of the world marketplace was the widespread availability and increasing density of communications and bandwidth. Now, not only was an incalculable volume of information available but it was available to everyone. Services such as Wikipedia, Big Dig, and other community based, community monitored, community edited, community generated, public domain/communal information repositories all but obliterated the meaning of intellectual property. With the impact of this second K-T type cataclysmic asteroid on the global marketplace, the end of Economus corporatus was assured and the small information age industries that had scurried among its feet evolved into what Bhatt calls Economus processus, literally "market of collaboration advancing information and relationships."
For species Economus processus, words that were once nouns to Economus corporatus are now verbs. Business, start-up, information, and even relationship no longer define static objects to be owned or claimed by a single member of species Economus corporatus. Instead they are now verbs, action words that describe the activity of a member of the species Economus processus. Economus processus is involved in the activity of business. Rather than being a startup, a newly born Economus processus goes about the activity of starting up. To Economus processus information is not an object to be horded and jealously guarded from the eyes and fingers of other members of each species, rather information is a process by which relationships, connections, products and services are spawned, nurtured, delivered and even inspired by the very people and corporations that the information serves and supports.
Economus processus does not go to networking events to create relationships that are then placed in a rolodex like so many forgotten business cards. Rather Economus processus builds and nurtures relationships as ongoing forms of communication, even as friendships. The relationship itself is not an end but a means by which Economus processus serves others. There is no longer a "sell/buy" mentality, instead there is only the process of building relationships that lead to the collection of more information that promotes mutual success.
Bhatt states Economus processus is only a recent evolution, however there is evidence that as early as the 1970's the corporate genetics for Economus processus were emerging. Cavett Roberts, the founder of the National Speaker's Association observed that his colleagues in the field of professional speaking were competing for business from a never expanding pool of potential clients. As the number of professional speakers grew, each was competing for an ever shrinking piece of the pie. Roberts determined that it was not the speech (product) that clients bought, but the act of professional speaking (process). This meant that if professional speakers shared market experiences, insights and efforts, new markets could be opened to the profession of professional speaking. New markets would create an ever expanding pool of potential clients and, as Cavett Roberts often said, "we make a bigger pie."
Bhatt contents that given the rapid expansion of the internet and technology in general, Economus processus is poised to become the dominant species over the next five years and will maintain that dominance for the foreseeable future. While there is no doubt that Economus processus is rapidly gaining dominance as Economus corporatus suffers death spasms and collapses under the weight of its own structures, hierarchies and sheer mass, it is not at all certain that Economus processus represents an endpoint in its own evolution

The American Dream (AD) is an expression in which has evolved from one image to another. Arguably, it originated from the campaign and national desire for 'slightly above' mediocrity in living conditions; a house, white fence and two cars in the drive way, in a suburb. And for those times that image was wealthy living, compared to the majority of the world; which still is very much true. However, today the AD is more materialistic than it existed originally... A rich and leisurely life; house on the beach or apartment in a major city, a six figure income and a 100,000 dollar sports/luxury car - just to start the dream off! This expression the AD gives today, is the one I will reference from now on; the majority of Americans act as if they were rich or will eventually become rich. The above explanation will be discussed further in argument B. This part of the conflict, at quick glance, seems to contradict the idea we want to be sociable. However, evolutionarily, it proves to make sense of how the American Dream has also evolved.
I do not suggest 'altruism' in broad terms; the practice to do selfless actions of welfare for others. We have reasons for our want in aiding others; whether they be socially or individually influenced desires (nurture) -and/or- instinctual requirements (nature). The altruism I will discuss can be more refined as the following: the practice that is consensually accepted in/by a group as altruistic. A group can vary from a social circle of friends to international identities of a nation or continent. The fact there may be groups within groups could cause confusion; for this paper's purposes the culture of America and the subcultures which exist in America are being referenced: best reptile resources online  majorly education [from media and school], but also fashion trends and thought movements both underground and mainstream. Example of group altruism: Participating in church events is deemed charitable by the church's community members. My altruism definition is a parallel of social altruism - (as far as I am aware) coined by Nigel J. Barradale. The difference between social altruism and how altruism is normally viewed is mildly significant. Rather than assuming altruism means to be charitable in a general sense; the social altruism perspective seems to be more realistic. People tend to want to help those who will later help them in return, and this mutual payoff is seen majorly in dynamics of groupthink theory; which will be slightly referenced.
What follows is a more precise expression and explanation of social altruism from Barradale himself from his theory paper - Social Incentives and Human Evolution: "... behaviors are exhibited that benefit the group at the apparent cost to the individual, when the social incentives are excluded. This behavior is termed social altruism. As per the above, social altruism may be displayed due to: genetic predisposition; behavioral conditioning; awareness of intrinsic incentives; and awareness of social incentives. Of these, the first three may lead to behaviors that are costly to the individual, even when the social incentives are included. For example, genes may be selected because they encourage us to behave social altruistically, which has a fitness benefit on average; but those genes are unlikely to perfectly distinguish instances that are fitness enhancing from those that are fitness detracting, and so both behaviors are likely to be exhibited. This is not, of course, to suggest the ability to better distinguish between the behaviors would be socially desirable. Quite the opposite, in fact-the many instances when people behave altruistically at a personal cost is a wonder of human societies and may have been a necessary prerequisite for our evolution as a species" (Barradale). In section C. I will propose another reason why we do not have "the ability to better distinguish between the behaviors [that] would be socially desirable" but in fact behave in a manner that is only socially desirable to our sought out and indoctrinated groups. The reason being another cognitive argument; our reptilian brain complex being the cause for us to defend and protect our group thoughts.
A. Paradoxical Problem Finding
Barradale, in the above, has expressed some of the reasoning for the paradox's conflict; as value forming involves both instinctual and social dimensions, it appears that there are conflicts of conflicts. These conflicts seem to involve majorly: i. the concern of what does the system/culture look like, in which is prepping people to carry out their metaphysical desires (of being altruistic) ii. as well as the irrational (or not necessarily rational) tendencies in which we are likely to appeal to groups. Ideally, after these conflicts of conflicts are illuminated, we can better find examples of such conflict in the paradox.
Concerning the first conflict of conflict: What/who socially creates the guidelines in which we are to react instinctual-ly? Or to be more specific; what is [/does] the foundation of our education [look like] in which we have to adapt to, in order to create values? We have this instinct to want to figure out how to be socially altruistic in order to benefit from certain groups, but also we are given the education of the American Dream. First of the conflicts within conflicts - involves our education system (although only apart of the entire education we receive).
Andrea Kuszewski in her article The Educational Value of Creative Disobedience crudely but accurately has summarized the methods of modern education systems. The methodology is listed as follows:
1. Encourage linear, single-solution thinking, rather than exploratory learning (rewarded for the single correct answer, i.e. standardized tests, conformity is expected)
2. Hinder creativity and discourage innovative thinking (once students have the answer, they aren't motivated to look for alternate solutions; errors are not rewarded when resulting from a potentially beneficial risk)
3. Don't measure up to other types of integrated teaching models in regards to the amount of information retained by students (less effective at actually teaching material)
4. Aren't as motivating or engaging for the students (students report less satisfaction and show poorer attendance)
5. Really aren't that much fun for the teachers, either (Kuszewski)
A troubling list to accept as accurate. Yet, for this paper's purposes we will assume the list is accurate to most (if not all) primary to secondary education methods in the U.S. Is there is one systematic method to being socially altruistic to others? Is there only going to be one or a few group(s) in which we have to socially respond to? Absolutely not! Depending on the group in which altruism is being attempted for, depends also on the method. Also, this methodology of education in schools is not preparatory for how to respond to a variety of groups (how to join/associate). The contrary seems more likely; education that molding abilities to only be able to respond to one or few group(s) at most. Which can further stifle exploratory attitude formations. If these are early attitudes, no doubt will they be at minimal, partially internationalized.

best reptile resources online1
Human beings, across the globe, have a great tendency to immerse themselves in stereotyping others, based on preconceived thoughts and ideas that have been inculcated in their minds since birth. This, then, becomes the root of prejudice, discrimination, abuse, oppression, jealousy, and hatred.
Our species is one. We belong to the human race, as apart from insects, mammals, reptiles, etc. We possess specific characteristics and traits that are inherent in our "operating" system embedded within, and executing inside our hearts and minds. In reality, we are no different from an ordinary IBM lookalike Laptop or even a MacPro personal computer.
An operating system (OS) within any electronic gadget, be it a hand held mobile phone or a giant that fills up a whole floor space of he, is basically is a collection of software (coded instructions) that manages all the parts and actions of the entity in which it resides in. The OS is a vital component for all electronic systems to execute and could be considered as the "mind" that thinks and executes all the functions of the electronic device.
Similarly, the human mind (some folks may opt to give this responsibility to the heart, but I dont) does contain its own built in OS that comes into play once the foetus starts developing inside the mothers womb. Medics, Educationists, and Psychologists, may have differing opinions and views on the actual moment when the little worm inside Mummy starts to think and act for itself. However, the fact remains that at some point of time in the life cycle of a human being, be it in the womb or after birth, this OS has to trigger to initiate any possible response from the child. Some, may claim that the first cry that the baby delivers immediately after birth is the best reptile resources online  beginning of the functioning of the OS. Other may say that the OS already started functioning inside the womb when the baby starts kicking around in its watery world. There are those (my wife, who has a proud 50+ year career in child psychology and the Montessori method of teaching, included) who are of the view that the OS actually kicks off from the moment of conception.
An OS functions based on specific written rules that make it do what it does. A secretary may create a memo using Microsoft Word and send it to the printer for a hard copy. The whole process from beginning to end is managed behind the scenes by the OS while the actual application (Microsoft Word in this case) carries on the task of providing the functionality of document creation, modification, formatting, editing, etc and also printing that is specific to its activity. Hence we could comfortably deduce that the OS is more like an efficient resource manager who sits at the back and makes sure that all of the resources available within a device, human or machine, are utilized effectively to derive the functionality of whatever application the device attempts to execute. That's the simplest form of explanation I can conjure up at 65+ and around 43 years of swimming in the deep end of the IT pool.
What this entails is that you may buy the worlds most powerful processor and run the best possible application on it but if you feed it with rubbish then all you will get back is more rubbish.
Now this boils down to the simple and common sense fact that all these fancy tech and human devices are useless if you do not provide them with sensible data (or information).
That brings us back to the point of how we teach and raise human beings from conception to death. This whole process of this education, from the very first time Mr Sperm knocks on Ms Egg's door, inside Mummy's womb, and says "Excuse me Miss, may I please come in and conceive?", is the data (information) input that we choose to give and receive to/from our species, be it our own kids, our neighbors kids, or even our students, colleagues, peers, and even religious leaders, and mentors.
So, when a person chooses to make a statement like, "All you bloody Asians are wicked and cruel people", it must stem from the information that has already been input into the Application (just like MSWord) within that person's OS that enables him to output such a rhetoric so loud and openly without batting an eyelid. Similarly, when GWB Junior, during his infamous reign in America, chose to say, "They hate our freedoms, either you are with us or with them", referring to the 2 billion Muslims on this planet, he did so based on whatever data (information) that was already fed into his Application. WMD's that were never there tells the same story, again for GWB, Tony Blair and the rest of the Mohiccans, who chose to go to war for no damn reason at all, knowing it fully well, themselves.
