I came up with a technic that requires zero knitting skills.The entire bag is made using the chain stitch and a sewing machine. You will find the process quite amusing and the outcome will surprise you!! Vintage suitcase makeover

Make a beautiful side table or a small desk by restoring a vintage suitcase. I recently found  an old wooden suitcase (probably from the 40s) that used to belong to my granddad,in a not very bad condition.I decided to restore it and make it into a small table that can either be used as a side table or as a small desk. I had a visit to a carpentry workshop in order to create a unique table which I then used  as a base for the suitcase table.You can use a table of your choice or had it made as I did.

Cinnamon cookies recipe

You will need:

1 tsp peanut butter

2 tsp cinnamon

1+ 1/2 cup flour

1 cup sugar

1/4 tsp of salt

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 cup of olive oil

1 egg

-Mix well the sugar with the butter and oil and then add the egg and other ingredients.

-Preheat the oven and shape the dough in to medium or small size balls. (keep in mind that they will come out at least twice as big)

-Bake at 175 Celsius degrees for 25′-30′min.

Enjoy with a glass of milk!!

DIY Cactus ornaments -Happy December-

Do you love decorating for christmas?

Since we have ornaments for the tree, I thought it was about time that we make some ornaments for our “little cacti friends”.The tutorial is so so simple.You don’t even have to bake the polymer clay.All you need is white and red polymer clay!!

Let’s start the tutorial!!

You will need red and white polymer clay.

Make one ball of each colour.Then roll them into tiny ‘snakes’.

Now roll them into one tiny snake by twisting the white part to the red.

Next,simply bend the top part and here you go! You have a tiny candy cane.

Make as many as you like!!If you don’t bake them they are far more easy to hand on the cactus.
