Today is #albinismawareness day- And this is XUELI… Xueli (14) was abandoned in China when she was a few months old probably due to albinism. She then lived in an orphanage until she was 3 yrs old and was adopted by her Dutch family. She is seriously visually impaired and has wobbly eyes but this does not hamper her from doing sports and finding new challenges. Xueli is very concerned about the way people and especially children with albinism are treated and abandoned in some countries or even mutilated and killed in African countries. This should stop. We should celebrate diversity.
