You know what I want for season 9 of 9-1-1?
I did this last year for season 8, but this time I figured I would focus solely on Buck’s love life.
Give me confident bisexual Buck making new friends and going out. He thinks he’s over Tommy and decides to ask his new queer friends to help set him up on blind dates.
Except every single one ends up with Tommy. His friends all know him for wildly different reasons. ‘Oh, this guy built a ramp for my grandmother’s porch after she fell and broke her hip.’ And ‘I met this cute guy on an insane backpacking trip a few summers ago’ and more things like that.
Every. Single. Time. It’s Tommy Kinard sitting at the other end of that table, eyes wide and a hesitant smile on his face.
So Buck gets to learn more about Tommy on each of these dates, the way he should have done during their first six months of dating. And he shares in turn. Tommy tells him about a summer spent with his aunt and Buck tells him about bartending in Peru.
And they rebuild from there.

reminiscing about the good old days but more specifically about those short 15 seconds in buck bothered and bewildered where buck was all “everyone thinks tommy is SO cool 🙄 he’s not even that cool 😒” . like he really was so precious and adorable trying to convince himself and others the he did NOT think tommy was cool when you could basically see the cartoon stars shooting out of his eyes just at the mere utterance of tommy’s name. sweet baby.

The funny thing about the queerbating argument for this fandom is that even if Buck or Eddie were women, they wouldn't be good together. Like at all.
If Buck were born Evelyn Buckley, and met Eddie the same way, when would a good time be? In season 2? No, Eddie was with Shannon. So either Buck would be portrayed as a home wrecker or Eddie would actively be trying to cheat on his wife. Season 3 wouldn't be any better but the whole grocery store scene would make Eddie extremely abusive. Anything after that point you'd have to address that scene and the fact that Eddie basically had his female best friend become Chris's mom. Which would basically downgrade Buck's place in the story. This show has a hard time balancing their female characters place between work and motherhood to begin with. Add to the fact that Buck's storylines tend to be romantic base and their relationship would crumble within a season or two.
If they made Eddie a single mom we wouldn't have the abuse issue. As this show ignores any abuse that happens to their male characters. However, with Buck coming off of Abby from season one he wouldn't want to persue that relationship in season 2, plus again Eddie was married. Then in season 3 he feels bad because he lost Eddie's kid then up and disappeared. Come season 4 fem!Eddie over there clearly isn't interested in making him Chris's dad. So Buck wouldn't try to start anything and Fem!Eddie would probably be given a whole lot of single mom storylines. Trying to push a relationship between them would feel wrong.
So no, if either of them were a women it wouldn't work. Funnily enough though, turn Buck or Tommy into a woman and their story still works.
Fem!Buck overly flustered by Eddie's new friend? Tries to get his attention by showing off? Also maiming your friend to get a guys attention is totally something a girl would do.
Fem!Tommy trying to fit in a macho line of work turning into more of an asshole to blend in? It's already canon. Fem!Tommy getting to fly a helicopter and save everyone? We saw it with Lucy, why not? Female Tommy leaving Buck at the restaurant because he's kinda being a jerk but taking him back cause he's sweet and apologizes? Amazing. Seeing how much Buck has grown in the past and trying again with an older woman would also be pretty cool.
Point is: The BuckTommy storyline isn't the show queerbating the audience. It would work with or without the queer elements. Buddie just doesn't work period.

If you can take into considerations that Eddie's behaviour was because of his trauma so his mental health is questionable, but can't take into consideration that Tommy's behaviour in season 2 was because of being in the closet and because of living under a toxic workplace management, and then proceed to think that Tommy's mental health will be fine...
You are a homophobe and a hypocrite by the way. Constantly living in fear will not mean your mental health is fine by the way. But you are too young (19) to understand that shit, and it shows.
Bobs (especially Eddie's bobs) are just a bunch of hypocrites who will wear queer tags on their profile, but then purposefully forgetting the struggle of older queers (which Tommy represent) to create a safe space for every queers. You bunchs benefit from them but you cant even be respectful toward them.
Take off that queer tags and go suck Eddie's dick you bunch of hypocrites.

tommy loves the feeling of buck shoving his face into the pillow as buck fucks into tommy, he loves how buck pulls on his hair, he loves being fucked as he struggles to breath, he loves how buck kisses the back of his neck then biting the muscles along tommy's back

I’m rewatching 911 and giving my thoughts on each episode. I’ll be talking about the big things, small things and everything in between.
Let’s watch 2.09 “Hen Begins”
Aisha looks beautiful in that dress and heels, but I definitely prefer Hen’s usual style.
It’s nice to see Eva pre-addiction, but you can tell she’s scared that Hens gonna figure out what she wants and surpass her.
“Cherrybomb” by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts is a banger! Also first of 2 Joan Jett songs that play over a Hen scene (the other is Crimson and Clover in episode 6.06 “Tomorrow”, in the flashback of Hen and Karen getting in on)
The wig burning 😂
I like how Gerrard used to be written. By like I mean he was written as a bloody good villain and somebody to really abhor. I hate that they turned him into something pathetic and comical in season 8.
Tommy and Sal! 🩶
Sal and Tommy seeming happy to see their new recruit until Gerrard opens his shit mouth.
“She’s too brooding for me.” Oh Tommy, sweetheart just wait. You’re gonna meet the most golden retriever man who will terrify and enthrall you 🥹
Sals face when Gerrard is on his tirade about the cost of female firefighters ->😡
Also noticed a previously missed detail. When Tommy says “New York bitchiness is a compliment?” Sal doesn’t smile or laugh at that either.
Gerrard complaining that he can’t trust a woman with the physicality of the job as if Hen isn’t bigger and taller than Chimney and could probably carry a heavier load than him.
Chim trying to bond with Hen 🥰
Sal about the mudslide - “It me? Or has this stuff got a mind of its own?” He’s talking about the movie The Blob lol.
Tommy heavy breathing 👀
Hen meets Athena!
“Yes you’re a minority, too but you’re still a man—you benefit from a system that keeps women that look like me down.” 🙌
“I told him if he wanted chocolate he should go to Carvel and if he ever touched me again he’d taste it.. through a wired jaw.” Yes Athena!
Hens speech gives me goosebumps. Every. Single. Time.
“Is this gonna be a regular thing? Crying?” - Chim
“Screw that—you’re good.” Finally Sal!
I love that they all put in complaints on Hen’s behalf.
“You’re the future of the LAFD” 🩶
Overall rating: 9/10

I want to make a home with you
BuckTommy | 844 words | fluff
Written for BuckTommy Hiatus Event ran by @bucktommysource (Prompt: home.)
Tommy came into Buck's life with a crunchy smile and gentle eyes, surprising him ever since they first met. With two fingers beneath his chin and a soft kiss, he rocked Buck's world on its axes, sweeping him off his own feet.
Things never changed from that first moment in his kitchen; Tommy likes to surprise him and he has done that in so many ways that Buck lost count by now. So, all things considered, Buck probably shouldn't be surprised when, three months after they got back together, Tommy knocks on his door and presses a bouquet of colourful flowers and a little blue package into his hands.
"Hey, baby," Tommy says enthusiastically, leaning in to press a kiss to Buck's mouth.
Buck is sure he hasn't forgotten a special occasion and it's not even the first time Tommy buys him flowers on a random day, it's just that he knows his boyfriend and can tell that there's something going on in that head of his. His heart misses a beat as he notices the glint in his eyes.
"Hi, I missed you," he says, stepping aside so Tommy can come in. "Thanks, babe, these flowers are gorgeous."
"Just like you," Tommy replies like the sap that he is. He waits as Buck puts the flowers in a vase, then grabs the package Buck laid on the counter and hands it to him, flushing. "I got us something."

This whole discussion about Buck being called Evan is crazy to me, because I always thought that the show had made it very clear that Buck doesn't mind being called "Evan", he minds when people who have hurt him or who he knows are about to use it to hurt him again call him by his real name and this has been properly clarified throughout all the canonical events within the show.
1) Buck's parents are usually the only ones he responds to angrily when they call him Evan since they've never had anything positive to say about him under any circumstances since he was 5 years old.
2) Other people in Buck's life have called him Evan in more than one situation, like Maddie herself, the most important person in his life and the one he loves more than anyone else in the world and he has never treated her the way he treats his parents when this happens, which reinforces my earlier point that it's not the name that bothers him, it's the way it's used.
3) Tommy calling Buck Evan is a reconnection, it's a real contact with someone he's very interested in building a life together with, breaking that cycle and reminding him that Evan doesn't need to be related to pain because when he thinks of his Evan, he's just kindness and love.
4) Buck has already demonstrated his ability to correct people who call him Evan, if Tommy was making him uncomfortable, he would have said so.
5) Also, the only time Buck felt uncomfortable with the way Tommy called him was when he called him Buck instead of Evan in the episode where they broke up, because he liked being known as just Evan when he was with Tommy, but suddenly he was just Buck again, because you know… it's not the use of the name, it's the way it's used
Distorting this narrative in a biased way to diminish Tommy's importance in Buck's life is ridiculous and absurd and putting it that way is also a way of not only nullifying Tommy's love, but also Maddie's and if I didn't know them I would say that they are trying to insinuate that only Eddie truly loves Buck, but unfortunately I know them and I know that is exactly what they are trying to do...
