brain vomit.
hi there, tumblr. it's your old friend tonya. i have so much to tell you, but i won't tell all now even though i COULD (v high on valium because it feels like i'm giving birth to a dinosaur through my rib cage). but oh lord, has this been one heck of a summer. love and loss, love and hate, sad and ok, super happy and nervous.
i will leave you with something my therapist told me recently (told you it's been a doozy!) -- people who suffer from depression dwell in the past, people who suffer from anxiety worry about the future. and my immediate argument was who are these MONSTERS that live in the now? how do they do it? like, without medication?
i will also leave you with a photo of the new man in my life. i think he is the best thing ever created and has changed my life a million ways since we found each other. even delilah loves him!

bitching.
well, twenty-twelve you're really bringing out the bitch lady in me. i brought in the new year by having some idiot boy drunkenly apologizing and telling me he is ready to be serious only to have him text me seven days later to say "i give up on you". am i really this difficult that people can only handle a week of me until they're ready to throw in the towel? i guess i'm missing something. the most important people in my life have been in my life forever or a few short years that have felt like forever. they've seen me at my best and happiest, but also my worst and depressed days and they've continue to stand by my side. really puts things into perspective when dick boy is so quick to jump ship. that's fine, the s.s. roe sails on without you.
so please twenty-twelve, i promise not to murder anyone this year if you promise not to bring anymore twenty-something-toddler boys into my life.
