BASICALLY GUEST IS WORKING FOR SHEDLETSKY ORIGINALLY AS A SOLDIER OF SORTS, has been for a while, the way guest meets telamon is after shedletsky sends him on a quest to collect a specific SFOTH sword (the illumnai, which is the one telamon bares….)

Anyway, guest is loyal to shedletsky because that is the kind of person he is, i havent thought of a way to exactly get over this besides making shedletsky perhaps more morally corrupt, kinda like in block tales maybe the swords are making him greeeeerdy……. and guest starts to see this,

maybe in guest and telamons first encounter telamon foreshadows this and once guest begins to see this greed and poor decision making on shedletskys part due to it he thinks back to what telamon says and goes back to him yes it could be that. guest figuring out shed had some underlying plot to use him, under the guise of loyalty and justice

i have alot of fun headcannons too like telamons first language being old english (not decipherable now to current english speakers) but he mostly speaks in middle english like the photo i attached with his dialogue that was middle english (i think i changed it a bit because i prefer how it flowed with ‘done’ instead of ‘do’)

telamon is god and shedletsky is like his rejected son in a sense

im a big fan of telamon and guest because i like the idea of guest being like a soldier for telamon, telamon taking him under his wing (heh) though guest doesnt really need it LITERALLY i think guest has a ‘need’ (drive, moreso) to serve
