most of these plots are based on ideas from horror movies & thrillers, in which there should be trigger warnings for those sort of plots: blood, gore, m*rder, death, stalking, etc. these can be taken in a romantic way or not ! be reminded that this is just fiction & a way for you to explore the darker parts of muses.

        CONSTANT CRAVING.  muse a has been stalking muse b for years, but it hasn’t been extremely insidious. in fact, at this point it seems like muse a knows muse b more than they know themselves. it’s like a soft little security blanket that muse b begins to miss because they seem to be stalking them less and less. so they try to figure out who muse a is to see why they’ve stopped.

        BURY A FRIEND. all throughout high school and college, muse a was bullied by their group of friends… except no one really knew, and just assumed that they were a regular part of that group. unknown to anyone, muse b begins to kill off that friend group and muse a thinks that they’re next. what they don’t know is that they’re the reason their friends are dying: muse b noticed the bullying, and wanted to put a stop to it.

        NIGHT SHIFT. there was a kidnapping gone wrong, and for whatever reason muse a was picked up by a group of serial killers. but when muse b is expected to watch over them, things don’t go as planned. muse a is incredibly witty and spunky, and begins to seduce muse b so that they can figure out a way to escape. 

        TWO LONELY HEARTS. there is a twisted person on the loose who keeps picking up people and keeping them locked in a house. for only a few weeks it has only been muse a and muse b living in the house, and even though they try they just can’t seem to find a way out. they have plenty of food and water, and the house is fully functioning. at first they can’t stand living with each other, but after weeks of being together something changes.

        WE’RE NO GOOD. through sheer coincidence, two hitmen have been happily married. in a turn-around of events, these two muses have gotten new assignments. both are incredibly large payouts; enough to put away for 10 college funds and then some. the only problem is… both of their targets are each other. and neither of them know that they’re stalking each other.

        ANOTHER VERSION OF ME. back when they were dating, muse a genetically engineered a tracker that they put in their lover’s dna so that they could track wherever muse b ‘released’. muse a completely forgot about it until they broke up… it was not mutual. muse b had moved on, but muse a wanted to get back at them: so muse a began to track them and everyone they got intimate with. and every single person muse b sleeps with ends up murdered. 

        UNTOUCHABLE FACE. modern technology is a great thing, especially how far virtual reality has come. with ‘nexus programs’ anyone can connect their brain to a small chip and be fully immersed in their video game world. whether it be a fantasy world, racing, or one of those popular shooter games! and that’s how muse a and muse b meet. and they quickly realize that it really is fully immersive. bonus points if they know each other in real life, but don’t know who’s playing the characters.

𝚌𝚞𝚕 𝚍𝚎 𝚜𝚊𝚌.     muse a has recently moved into a new neighborhood with their spouse. they’re desperately trying to make things work, but the passion isn’t there. muse b is their next door neighbor who has been there since day one. they delivered a pie and welcomed them into the neighborhood. one thing led to another and muse b came onto muse a (either in private or a neighborhood gathering). muse a couldn’t resist anymore and they started an affair. 

𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚔 𝚜𝚙𝚘𝚞𝚜𝚎.     everyone has a work spouse. muse a & b are that for each other. whether they’re coworkers on the same level or one is the boss is up in the air. everyone can see their natural connection, but either both or one of them actually has a spouse outside of the company. after an office party muse a & b share a drunken kiss. after that, they’re paired together for a long and taxing project. soon enough they’re not able to keep their hands off of each other, finding pleasure in their work that they can’t get at home. 

𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚎𝚡 𝚑𝚎𝚡.     muse a & b used to date years ago, but for whatever reason they broke up. since then they lived their lives with little to no contact. recently muse a moved to a new town or started a new job and low and behold, muse b is right there with them. they were toxic for each other, to put it simple, but now they can’t seem to stop thinking about one another. after a fight where muse b says muse a still probably thinks about them when they’re intimate with their partner, the two fall into bed together.

𝚕𝚒𝚊𝚛𝚜 𝚗𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚜𝚙𝚎𝚛.    muse a is partnered, but when they go on business trips they act like they aren’t. muse b connected with them on a recent trip and the two let their desires take the best of them. months after this started, muse b finds out muse a has a whole family. will the two continue to see each other or is cheating something that muse b can’t find themselves to be a part of? 

𝚒𝚍𝚎𝚊𝚕 𝚎𝚖𝚙𝚕𝚘𝚢𝚎𝚎.     muse a is the perfect employee on paper. they make the company the most money and everyone likes them. muse b, the boss’ spouse, has even taken a special interest in them. often times when the ceo is out on business, muse b comes into the company to check how things are going. muse a ends up being super attentive, starting an affair with their own role model’s spouse. 

𝚝𝚑𝚛𝚎𝚎'𝚜 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚊 𝚌𝚛𝚘𝚠𝚍.     muse a and muse b have been dating for quite some time. muse a has been recently having an affair with muse c, missing the fire that was in their original relationship when it started. instead of being mad or rash, muse b suggests they all get together when he finds the two of them sleeping together when they were supposed to be working/running errands.
