The Top 5 Reasons You Can't Blame  Miley Cyrus For Her 2013 VMA Performance
5.  Justin Timberlake-  His memorable 15-minute medley performance, including his former NSYNC bandmates steered some of the outrage away from those who felt Miley’s was just “poor in taste” and brought into them some feel good nostalgia.
4. Robin Thicke- Miley’s fellow medley performer. His raunchy artisty and/or 2013 hit song, or  “Blurred Lines”, already rubbed half the country the wrong way and it didn’t help he allowed Miley to invoke sexual positions on him (ex.   Cyrus subsequently touched Thicke's crotch area with her giant pedicured foam finger and twerked against him)
3. The VMAS- Miley’s sexually-charged performance is a reminder to all of us anything can happen in The VMAS, either planned, unplanned or out of nowwhere. Famous Examples: *Kurt Cobain's backstage beef with Axl Rose in 92' * The tumultous reunion of Van Halen in 96' * Lim Kim showing up at 99' VMAS with an entire breast exposed and only a tiny piece of fabric over the nipple * Britney Spears's 2001 perfomace with the tiger and the snake * Madonna-Brittney kiss in 03' *  Russell Brand's purity ring rant about the Jonas Brothers in 08 * 2009 Taylor Swift-Kanye West Stage Incident.
2. She Benefited From It, Social-Media Style-  The performance generated 306,100 tweets per minute on Twitter, gained  over 213,000 Twitter followers, 226,000 likes on Facebook, and 90,000 downloads of  “Wrecking Ball”. The latter went on the following year to win  the VMA award for Video of the Year and she wowed the media by sending a man named Jesse to raise awareness to the homeless youth of America as her acceptance speech.
1. MTV- They had the power to tweak the performance or just flat out change it but did nothing to prevent all the eventual criticial backlash. They didn't even bat an eye when Miley Cyrus was selected to be host of this year's VMAs

The Top 6* Reasons You Can't Blame Pete Carroll for the Seattle Seahawks loss in last year's Super Bowl:
6. Green Bay Packers: In the preceding NFC Championship game, they gave away a big lead and the game to a hopeless Seahawks squad in OT. 5. Deflategate: To summarize, Patriots were caught underinflated balls in the AFC Championship game and it was over-hyped to the point that the Patriots desperately needed to win the Super Bowl to save face or be on the receiving end of deflated ball butt jokes. 4. Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane: He was talking smack about the Patriots before the big game. Same game, he got he got hurt almost returning an interception from Tom Brady for a TD!!! ‪#‎TalkAboutIrony‬ 3. Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor all played in the game with serious injuries and Brady took advantage by torching the defense with 328yds and 4 TDs. 2. Malcolm Butler: Before his game-winning interception, he prevented the Seahawks from scoring earlier by pushing Kearse out of bounds after the latter's amazing Antonion Freeman-like catch. 1. Marshawn Lynch Ran The Ball A Play Before: I mean, how often does a running back get the ball in two consecutive plays? Plus, the Patriots would've saw it coming. So, Carroll had no other choice but to call a pass play.

5. Brazil- The fight was held in her native country of Brazil, supposedly giving her homefield advantage but instead inciting pressure 4. Jessamyn “The Gun” Duke and “The Queen of Spades” Shayna Baszler - They were Ronda’s friends but also Correia's recent victims in the octagon. 3. Cat Zingano- Like Correia, she was on the recieving of a first-round defeat but it was the the shortest match in UFC championship history by 14 seconds. 2. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper- He died a day before the highly anctipated fight, which was very personal for Rousey that she dedicated the win to him. He even allowed her to use his nickname "Rowdy" when she she personally asked for permission. 1. Ronda Rousey- DUH!

Top 5 Reasons You Can't Blame Chris Borland For His Decision To Retire After Playing One Season:
5. His Rookie Year- Borland finished his rookie season with 108 tackles, 1 sack, and 2 interceptions in only starting 8 games for the Niners. he was also the first rookie linebacker in franchise history to get two interceptions in one game and was selected as the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Month for November. Not bad for a rookie. 4. Stastics Shows He's Not The Only One- According to the NFL Players Association the average career length is about 3.3 years. 3. 2014 San Francisco 49ers season- 18 49ers including Borland himself, were sidelined with injuries.. 2. Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE)- a neurological disorder found in professional athletes who have experienced repetitive brain trauma. A  brain injury study conducted at the Boston University School of Medicine showed that 33 of 34 players tested post-mortem showed clear signs of CTE, including recently HOF inductee Junior Seau, who tragically committed suicide with a gunshot wound to the chest in 2012. Borland even cited his concern of head trauma for his reason of early retirement. 1. The NFL- the game was getting dangerous over the years with Helmet-to-helmet collisions and/ore low blows, making Borland's reason for retirement more legitimate than one.
