Some of my favourite fan-works are the ones where it's not initially obvious that they're fan-works. You'll be reading a grindingly realistic depiction of the protagonist's minimum wage service industry job and struggles with gender dysphoria and clinical depression, then thirty-five pages in Pikachu shows up.

My favourite trope in the world is overpowered main characters who think they aren't that great at whatever they're doing and they're just scraping by, meanwhile they're the devil incarnate from everyone else's pov

Yes, your friend will "change" if they come out as a system to you. They seem like they're changing because they're trying to unmask around you and let their alters be themselves and not hide amnesia and other aspects of the disorder as much.

I understand it can be hard to realize your friend isn't exactly how you thought they were, but they're still you're friend. It's likely you've met their other alters, they just didn't say who they were.

Everyone gives Sherlock Holmes a hard time about being mean about Watson's writing, but honestly imagine you told your roommate "sure, you can write up an account of my work for the newspaper," thinking it would be like, about the murder, but then he publishes it and it's 90% about you, as a person, and it's a huge hit and now everyone in London knows that you hoard newspapers and do cocoaine when you're depressed. Because I think you'd be little miffed too.

A new food cart opened up where the ramen stand was and I was like, kinda of mad about it cause I wanted ramen? But then. Then I saw the glorious foods this place had to offer and I went wait,,, wait that's not fair??? Fresh crushed watermelon and coconut water drink plus kebabs?? for only 9.50??? Get out the way im having a religious experience at the food carts tonight
