I’ve been so excited for months to share this fic with you all - you can blame @extasiswings​ for getting me into The Hating Game in the first place and then shamelessly encouraging me to make it a Buddie AU (she made up for it by holding my hand throughout this whole process).

A further shout out to @evandiaz​ who commiserated with me as our fics ballooned far beyond the original word count, @tripleaxeldiaz​ who sinfully joined Chapel in the enabling, and @catdadeddie​ and @mistmarauder​ for putting up with my panicking.

Hello all! Welcome to the first annual 911 Reverse Bang! You may be wondering: What is a reverse bang?

In a typical fandom Big Bang, fic is written first and then art is created for the fic. In a Reverse Bang, the art is created first and then fic is created for the art. Creators will have up to six months (depending on when they sign up) to create any of the accepted forms of art for fic to be written from! Once matched, writers will have three months to work with their artists to create a fic with a minimum word count of 5K.

Buck’s Books: Part 2

In a previous post I pointed out that we can clearly see the novel The Return of Sherlock Holmes on Buck’s bedside table in 5x01.

I’m so thrilled that in 5x03 we got a full shot of Buck’s entire bookcase. I’ve been analyzing the novels there all morning, and I’ve come up with three titles that I can make out for certain. There are a couple others that I’m still questioning, and then the rest are just far too blurry and indistinguishable.

Here’s the full case, which can then be split up into 4 little sections of book collections:

Here we can clearly make out Ulysses by James Joyce sitting toward the top of this stack:

Next we have a section that reveals 2 different book titles. We can clearly see the front cover of The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway, and then to its direct right, we can make out the spine of All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr.
