Honestly just talk about it. Or if you have thoughts about the project write them down for people to see. That would mean a lot to me, the creator. Sometimes creating feels like shouting out into space and people engaging with my work means a lot to me! That means more to me than patreon subs or any monetary support.

there is something to be said about the inherent creepiness of mascots, in my opinion. a company, an entity comprised of up to thousands of people, condensing its entire body of self onto a single being. but this being needs to be as massively marketable as possible. it cant be too much like a person, or else it could damage the reputation of The Company. but we need to also make it Likable and Approachable so that our consumers Want It and by extension want Our Product. it belongs to the public, but no, it doesnt, and you can get fined and/or arrested over a drawing if The Company is angered enough. it cannot think or feel or act, but so many people treat these mascots as people, either harmed by The Company or its enforcer.

its so like. it makes sense to me why mascot horror is so prevalent in modern times. we are probably the most advertised to culture in generations.
