Many of my t-shirts are inspired by social media comments. Maybe good or bad that has been said about us.

My new T-shirt company

My first T-shirt is A close source says...it's all fake news. I will tell you a little about how this all came about.

Sitting reading an article online about Rebel Wilson taking papers to court for defaming her character which resulted in her losing work. The newspapers came up with a story that she had lied about her name and age and isn't any of the way she has told of herself in interviews. It's as if the media picks a celebrity and finds the story from lie generator and prints. There doesn't seem to be any concern of how this could ruin somebody's character, career or even relationships. But, the thing that always stands out as to back up their stories, they always say use a close source told them..... whatever that case maybe, to back up their lies. So, I decided that I would do a close source range of T-shirts with different endings of things that might have been said about people, either through the media/social media. While I would love nothing more than to be able to stop trolls spreading lies and vicious comments I am felt I couldn't do much. That's when I had an idea of how I deal with negativity from people. I own whatever they are saying about me (sometimes even if its not true what they are saying) immediately I feel their power stripped. They are unlikely to keep saying the same thing if you've already said it about yourself.

I have chosen to start off with it's all fake news! As I hear this a lot from the President of the United States and I'm not saying that everything we read is fake news but I thought it was the perfect slogan to start this collection. Take a look at the collection.
