Philosophy n shit

Ever think about something you used to do all the time? A memory from the past of someone who you once were. I do. But I come to the conclusion that it's not that I'm a different person, it's the people around me who are different. Leading me to believe that the people in our lives have the capability to bring out all kinds of behavior hidden within us. The more I think about this concept the more I'm lead to wonder about 'the soul' if the soul is in entirety our 'true self' then what makes up the soul? Nobody knows, leaving it up to the power of our imaginations until it's proven or disproven and to whether we have one or not. I'd like to believe that the soul isn't physical. It doesn't have to be. It's something you feel, deep in your gut. Now where does the soul have to play in who we are? The soul is a fragment of you, the life force pumping the blood through your veins, your body's motivation to live. Given the law of conservation of energy: energy can neither be created nor destroyed. This life force energy is also a fragment of all the energy that exists in our universe. Piece of you=piece of the universe; keeping everything going. Makes sense? Ok, now think of someone close to you, what about them makes them important to you? Mostly because you see something in them that reminds you of yourself. Or someone you want to be. Like a puzzle you just fit together and don't really know how or why, you just do. But it's not always the same reason as why you are close to someone else. That person provides you a different 'piece.' Piece meaning a piece of your soul. Since we are all born from the same energy that already exists there has to be groups of people who's soul is made up of similar and different energies, aka thoughts, aka emotions, aka personalities, all the things that make you YOU. The stuff that's apart of us that is there but nonphysical. Why you get along with one person and not with another. Because through the eyes of who we are we can learn a lot about others, recognizing us in them, and whether their state of consciousness is ahead, behind, or right along with ours. We either look up to the ones ahead of us, or look at them with envy. We either look to help the ones behind us, or look at them as beneath us. We can work with the ones alongside us, or work against them. Everything is based off perspective and how you want to view a situation. There are people out there who have the capability to show you the inner workings of your soul, those who make you question it, and those who can close it. The ones to open you up are open themselves and genuinely good in nature. The ones who make you question how someone could act in such a way show you the parts of the soul you have yet to understand. The ones who know how to close souls are selfish, only caring about themselves hurting everyone in their path. It's the people who you surround yourself with that govern how you feel. They have the ability to show you a reflection of yourself. The quality of your piece in them has a direct influence on how much of that side they bring out of you or push away. We're all the same. We're all connected. Somehow. I can feel, it can you?

The Feeling

When I'm on my board I feel as if I'm floating. Rolling through the streets swift and free. I swivel back and forth, back and forth on the black ground. Not because I'm dodging all the pedestrians, because I like to just to feel the grip of the wheels. Closing tight turns, rocking side to side, picking up speed as I am carried down hill. I don't have to think, my thoughts are blank. The only thing I think about is the weight lifting off my shoulders. I think about how nothing in the world matters except what is happening right then and there; in the moment. I understand, and can relate to the true meaning of that phrase. Not living in the moment as in seizing every opportunity, but living in the moment just to observe everything other than yourself at that very second. I don't concentrate on maneuvering through the concrete jungle, I let my body react and trust its instinct. Nothing can compare to that single feeling, and I live it everyday.
