I know this is a pointless argument but it’s one that’s hypothetically baffled me. (I say hypothetically because I fully know the answer as to why lmao)

But with trans ideology being incredibly mainstream, esp in the past decade, there has been ample time to create a space of their own. Support groups, rape shelters, sports leagues, even toilet facilities.

Women after all had to do it. Women have been the only ones looking out for women & building female-only spaces, groups, orgs & facilities. Because we need them & we have ample evidence that we need these spaces for safety & fairness.

For such a “small amount of the population”, it wouldn’t need to take immense amounts of facilities. There is backing from many TQ+ organisations, some of who have significant funding.

Anyway. If they cared so much & felt at such risk in the males spaces then maybe they’d use the amount of time that they’re had to do something about it. But it just ain’t the same if they can’t force women & girl to witness their disturbing caricature of sexist stereotypes & whole ass paraphilia.

Another thing that’s ironic to me is that they’re like “95% of women are absolutely fine with us using the female utilities”….. it’s like. actually I will elaborate

I was once taking a bath but my roommate needed to use the toilet. I didn't wanna move so I just pulled the curtain completely closed and let her in as usual.

we both have ADHD so our conversations at baseline are pretty off the rails. we started with that animated K-pop movie, then to overall fandom, then homestuck, Toby Fox, and somehow we eventually got to Elon and Trump.

For context-- she has IBS, but we have a really good spray that goes into the toilet before using it and prevents it from stinking up the entire room, so there was more than enough time and levity for all of this.

I may have been very not sober so I jokingly suggested we write fanfiction of both of them, and this was before their messy fallout. She didn't just run with but sprinted with the bit, and so sentence by sentence we start collaborating on the worst theoretical fanfiction in existence, laughing our asses off as we go. We eventually wrote them having a huge messy break up.

I want to say maybe a month and a half later, they had their IRL messy fallout. And in the middle of my work day she just comes up to me and is like, "Did you see the news?". And she really dislikes talking about politics, so I figured it was pop culture or fandom related, and thus outside of my knowledge sphere. So I asked, "What news?".

And then, "Our OTP broke up! We predicted the future!!". I looked at her for a second because I didn't know what she was referring to, but then she said "Trump and-" and I immediately remembered our theoretical fic and lost my shit laughing.

What rigid confines do I want women in? Because I think marriage and the traditional family drain the life from vibrant women and that femininity is a prison. So beyond being biologically female I don’t know what else you think I believe women should be. But my guess is you know full well that I don’t advocate for traditional values at all but know that your argument depends on me being a strawman. If my only requirement for womanhood is to be biologically female and doesn’t require any kind of appearance or behavior or beliefs then you have to explain why THAT is unreasonable. So it’s much much easier to insist I mean only thin women or only white women or only feminine women or only fertile women. Which simply isn’t true. And I believe you know that.

I’d also love to know what exactly about me makes me a Nazi? That word has a fixed meaning. And since I do not believe in a superior aryan race or German nationalism I suspect what you’re actually doing is using “Nazi” to mean “bad person that doesn’t agree with me”. Which makes you look like an idiot. If you think I believe Palestinians deserve to suffer, say that. If you think I’m exaggerating antisemitism in the diaspora, say that. But that would require you to use your brain. You’d have to engage with my actual words and actions. You’d have to make a better counter argument and you can’t. to be entirely fair im kinda on the level of borderline cat whisperer

I once met an entire stranger and his cat supposedly hated everyone. but I sat down slowly, making myself smaller and less threatening, kept my gaze low and avoided eye contact with the kitty to avoid being misinterpreted as aggression, greeted him with a quiet and friendly "hello", and held my hand out for sniffs. super easy and direct. kitty sniffs my hand and then immediately nuzzles it.

his owner was like "Wait, he doesn't like people aside from me- ....holy fuck. he hates EVERYONE. What. He likes you a LOT." and I was like "Yeah I get that a lot."

but idk. nobody ever had to really tell me to do those things. it just kinda always came naturally? it's easy just see if something you do makes them uncomfortable or not and then adjust, and go from there???

I remember being a small scared autistic kid, and when adults would kneel or sit on my level, keep their voices calm and quiet, no sudden moves, no forced eye contact, approached me on my terms, and didn't touch me unless I was ok with it, I was the sweetest, most affectionate, calmest little kid ever.

meanwhile adults that did otherwise (most of them) freaked me out and thus thought I had TERRIBLE behavioral issues because I'd scream and hit them when they unknowingly hurt me. And I had pretty significant language delays, which also benefitted my abusive parents, so I couldn't tell them how scared or uncomfortable I was when someone would pinch my cheeks too hard, or when someone's lovely but painful manicured nails were digging into me too hard when they were holding me.

I've always figured small little kitties must also feel threatened if their ears and noses are so sensitive and all these giants around them are being loud, demanding, and touching them too roughly... and they can't even say no or stop in a way humans would immediately and universally understand. I'd hate that, too, anyone would.

in late elementary school a lot of the boys would be like "our cat fucking hates me! she scratches me and attacks me for no reason!" but I would remember about how they said last week that they pulled the cat's tail, or played a cruel prank on her, or talked about how he enjoyed startling her. like, no shit she doesn't like you. you treat her like shit, she's going to do the same back? are you stupid?

Conversely, I've never really liked dogs much in general. I find them smelly, loud, too hyper, and waaaaay too much work. You even have to predict when they need to piss and shit and then take them outside multiple times a day. And then pick it all up. Ew. What a sensory nightmare. And they always have horrible breath but still insist on licking your entire face, or full body tackling you even if you're likely to fall down and get hurt. The complete opposite of an ideal animal companion for me. Even though most dogs tend to adore me, it's too much for me.

But when it comes to individual dogs, even when they piss me off, I'd never harm them or do what those little boys did to cats. I simply just don't want one in my living space. When I visit my friends who have dogs, they're usually very well trained and cared for, so most of those factors aren't remotely a problem. A little pomeranian standing on my lap with her paws on my chest trying to lick my face is a lot better than a full size adult golden retriever tackling me to the ground and then stepping on my face, scratching it with their gigantic nails.

Meanwhile, even when my cat is pissed off at me, if she nips at me it's gentle and obviously not her full strength, or she'll intentionally bite my clothes and not me, letting go if she accidentally grabs or scrapes against skin. She's also learned my stomach is sensitive, if she needs to step across it, she slows down her actions and keeps an eye on me to see my reactions, and backs off if she notices I'm in pain. Lots of consideration for me and my wellbeing. And I'm sure plenty of dogs are capable of similar behaviors! Unfortunately, the vast majority I've been around weren't cared for all that well.

It's just really unfortunate how common it is for people to not put any work and training into dogs at all, because they really do need it.
