AOTW #23: Chu 

Chu is a nonbinary, mixed race, 31 y/o cartoonist who currently lives in Arizona. They are the creator of the award-winning fantasy webcomic Slightly Damned as well as The Junk Hyenas Diner.

Slightly Damned started as a hobby in 2004. This fantasy-flavored afterlife adventure is now one of the internet's oldest ongoing webcomics. It has won four Ursa Major Awards and was the focus of two successful Kickstarters, and is now a part of the Hiveworks webcomic collective.

They have a graduate degree in cartooning from The Center for Cartoon Studies. While studying in Vermont, they developed their second webcomic, The Junk Hyenas Diner. As the name implies, it is a science-fantasy series about a small family of mutant hyenas that run a diner on an alien planet.

Animals, humor, color, and food are the four essential elements to Chu's work as an artist. They strive to make art that has the power to move people, even if it's just a chuckle.

AOTW #22: AndroidPriest Cameron Stark is a 28­ year ­old digital illustrator and designer from Michigan, who has been drawing since he could hold a pencil.

Inspired by fantasy, sci­fi and transhumanism, video games, and music, his art tends to center on characters and locations from his imagination, trying to convey worlds he has spent years thinking about in the shower but procrastinating writing about.

Cameron’s hobbies center around the creative as well—he enjoys  creative writing, watching and playing video games, dabbling in music when the self­doubt isn’t too dramatic, and the occasional performing art. He also never  stopped playing dress­up asa kid, so he still does that a good chunk of the time as well.

Currently  working with Titanomachy Studios, Cameron is always looking to expand  his art  portfolio through many different avenues.

His work has been featured in local event flyers, music and performance promotion/merch, as well as various indie game and comic  projects. His goal is to one  day run a multimedia studio  of his own, or maybe convert a cathedral  into a nightclub. Or maybe become a robot.

Vertigo Karma is a fourteen year old trans fem artist and musician born and raised in New York. Most of her time is dedicated to her various projects, her biggest one yet being the Karmaverse: a multimedia story told through both music & comics.

Her art is most recognizable through her distinct painting style and strangle blend of various aesthetics; She makes different genres of music under different aliases.

AOTW #19: Allan Grossmann

Allan Grossmann is a 21 y/o FTM transgender animation student who has a passion for drawing anything ranging from horses to robotic characters, writing fanfiction and film scripts, and playing videogames and TTRPG’s in his free time.

As an artist coming from a background of an Irish-Comanche family, Allan also wishes to explore a wider, more-diverse style of art and inspiration for his work, as well as learn more about his family’s rich history and culture. When it comes to his future, Allan dreams of producing his own short films and maybe even an animated television series or two; he also plans on working on more art and game-based videos for his YouTube channel.

As of right now, the best way to support Allan is to purchase a commission to help him get through the holidays while he works to find a job.

Melvin Dovinte is a megalomaniacal webspace musician working in the avant-garde and genre-defying, with a particular interest in the impressionistic power of fantasy futurism. Their work draws heavily from an innate interest in music theory, a love of science-fiction from the '70s and '80s, and finding beauty in decadence.

AOTW #17: ClownGaud Bloom/Paya is a 20 year old agender artist and character designer. As a mixed race and multiply disabled artist, they like to focus on creating  diversity within their art and stories.

As a lifelong lover of drawing and painting, they have coped with legal blindness through heavy style experimentation, and the ability to create appealing and meaningful imagery and characters despite and because of their disability is what drives them to make art. 

Aside from their artwork, they also have an interest in creating bold and colorful clothing, and hope to begin making music in the near future. You can support them by ordering digital commission work, or by following them on Patreon.

I had to drop out of classes due to a car wreck and now i owe my college $400!!!!

So this is a total fucking blow to me rn but uh I owe 400+ dollars to my school bc i had to drop classes that were paid for by Title IV (Financial Aid)!
