Was it hard to get used to not being able to use your legs? What's something you miss about them?

It was so hard. There’d be some mornings I’d wake up and forget they didn’t really work the same. Do you know how much it sucks to fall on your face so early in the morning?

As to what I miss, everything. I miss being able to run at a half decent speed. I miss climbing trees and walking places. But it’s probably what I deserve.

I really like daisies. They’re such a simple and under appreciated flower.

do you know what happened with your friends?

Are we talking specific or is this a trick to get me to expose my friends? Because it’s working. Annabeth saw a spider once and shrieked so loud I thought she was going to shatter an eardrum. Oh, and don’t even get me started on Phoenix. I caught him talking to a a sprinkler once, like there was someone on the other side or... wait, maybe that one was me.

What are you proud of, but never had an excuse to talk about?

I can fit six enchiladas in my mouth at the same time. The only time I had the chance to talk about it, I couldn’t, because there were six enchiladas in my mouth.

Me? You, you want to ask me? I’m human. I’ve always been human. That’s such a weird thing to say.

But I think they should be a little more kind; to earth and her creatures.

Alvin had been looking for somewhere to sit, it felt like he’d been standing for hours, though in reality, he knew it’d only been one hour at most. He had finally found somewhere, melting into the chair. He felt eyes on him from somewhere and assumed it was Allie, but then his eyes met the other guy’s and his eyebrow raised at the comment. “ Uh… Sure? ” He wasn’t sure where he was going with this, but he didn’t mind having a conversation with someone anyways – it was better than sitting alone.

Grover pulled himself into an upright position, knowing that relaxing against the couch in his state was only going to make daze off, his high threatening to pull him in further than he wanted. “Can you twitch your nose? Like this.” As an example, he wiggled his nose a little much like a rabbit might. “I know it’s weird, I’m just testing a theory.” He laughed, more at himself over anything, as he watched the other.

The night was only beginning for Claude, he wasn’t even high yet so the munchies were barely on his radar, “Only when I’m high on life, brother. This place is probably nothin’ but synthetics and poisons in their food, I don’t blame you,” He yelled over the speakers, a laugh on his lips. Come to drink of it, did this place even serve food? He could barely see anything over the ocean of heads around them, “Let’s take a breather outside, we can hit someplace else.”

“That’s basically all the time for me.” It was a sentiment that rang true, though, as Grover was almost always eating something. He had hoped the party would have more vegetarian friendly options, but he couldn’t blame the hostess for that either. At the mention of hitting somewhere else, Grover found himself grinning. “Let’s do it! I think there’s a store still open a couple blocks from here,” one that actually had a decent amount of vegetarian options too. He didn’t waste any time, pushing past dancing bodies to get through the door.

She was tempted to tell him to piss off, anyways, but the looks she would get for being cruel to someone who was clearly disabled stopped her from doing so. “I suppose not, but if you annoy me, I will change my mind,” she replied, taking her bag off the chair.

Grover didn’t need any other response from the girl. He clambered up onto the stool with ease, sending her a wider grin. “I make exactly zero promises on the annoyance thing.” He was being honest, at least?

               TONY WAS A very sensible guy – but sometimes, he ran his mouth. and right now was a prime example of such an incident where he just didn’t think before speaking. but the peach the guy next to him was eating just… r e a l l y looked like a butt. a beautiful butt, at that. maybe he thought he hadn’t said it out loud. until the guy next to him actually replied. “ yeah – sorry, i honestly did not think that actually came from my lips. “, he replied, laughing softly as he shook his head. “ but, yeah, that peach you were eating just really looked like a butt. don’t you think ? “.

“Why do you think I was eating it?” Grover joked, a pale imitation of a serious expression trying to hold back the laughter that soon followed. He took that time, where he was laughing so hard he could barely talk, to throw away the pit, giving his hands a brief rinse in the sink close to him. “Sorry, sorry oh god, I can’t believe I said that. That is, officially, the worst joke I have ever told.” It probably wasn’t the best way to meet someone, but Grover was nothing if not honest.

“No,no,no,” Hero began to backtrack everything from before; who was he to judge a professional florist? But it also wasn’t entirely the ‘thank you’ gift he’d had in mind - neither was the young man behind the counter staring at him like he had two heads, “I- Yes, it’s nice to meet you,” He cracked a smile and extended his hand, hoping to make a fan’s day.Maybe that was a little presumptuous, but the kid’s face certainly said it all.

“Can I-” Grover swallowed, reaching out to take Hero’s hand so he could shake it. Oh god, he was touching THE Hero Chidike. It was weird to say he would never wash his hand again, right? Yeah, yeah that was weird. “Can I get an autograph?” He asked, shaking Hero’s hand a little more vigorously than he personally would have liked, his excitement getting the best of him. While the handshake went on a little longer than normal, Grover eventually did pull his hand away, his eyes falling to the bouquet. “This bouquet is garbage, let me just,” he picked the bouquet up and put it on the desk behind him. He could just give it to Annabeth later. “I can make you a better one, I swear.”

“ yes, i said it looked like you were eating a fuzzy butt, ” KAT laughed as she watched him inhale the fruit. “ are you always like this? distracted by food, i mean? “ she didn’t know grover all that well. she mainly just knew him from environmentalist rallies and the occasionally chaining himself to a tree. perhaps she was more used to an almost more serious, activist side. however, she was aware he had quite a humorous side. “ i was actually asking you if there were any rallies coming up? or yet another reason to chain yourself to a tree. ”

“It does!” If Grover had any sort of braincell, he would have at least admired the butt looking peach before he ate it, but alas, all he had now was the sticky pit clutched between his fingers. “Oh, absolutely. Trust me on this, if you ever seen me on a hunger strike, I’m either possessed or I’ve officially lost my mind.” That, or he was insanely serious about whatever it was he was protesting. While he was passionate about a lot of the things he rallied for, he had yet to find one worth not eating. “So, no rallies, persay, but I heard there’s this traveling zoo coming into town and I’m gonna set the animals free. It’s gonna be pretty covert,” meaning basically just him, “but you’re welcome to tag along. Or, I can just give you the details later.”
