Yumekira is at its best for me when they're enemies to lovers. When Kira genuinely thinks of Yumeko as a thorn in her side - a problem to be rid of. A problem she's willing to kill. And Yumeko is the cheerful wrecking ball playing her games. Someone asked me wether or not I think Hayley realized she had feelings for Klaus at some point but I deleted it because I'm stupid so here we are:

So first of all 100% yes!

She knew what she wanted from him, initially she had higher hopes for the both of them with or without Elijah although with the incredible amount of times she chose Klaus over everyone including Elijah who was pretty much a place holder and a way for her to feel loved it's clear she just wanted Klaus

She was attracted to him since tvd، i mean they fucked, she chose to keep the baby, she was begging Klaus every two days to love her and care for her and their baby when he was the shittiest person imaginable like obviously she knew she loved him😭?

Thing is he was in fact an unreliable/often seemingly detached person and she needed stability and constant reassurance he won't leave her (ironically him too which is why it took him ages to start acting decent)

And she loved him like no other, not even Elijah at times had that same patience for Klaus and he actually tried to kill him at some point

Now Klaus almost offed her and the baby twice out of anger/jealousy and Hayley what? Was kicking her feet at him offering to fix the AC/ telling him she had no reason to believe in him yet she desperately wants to and told him that he's actually somehow a good person?? Who tf does that but an unhinged woman in love, you do NOT bend over backwards to have a family , a whole child with a horrible person if you're not THAT down bad
