[Reasons why I went with a chess motif under the cut]

Why Chess? ⚠SPOILERS

(INHALES) Went with Chess as a counterpart to Susukichi's Reversi quips. Also, the day she joins the WT is entitled Checkmate. Like the Queen piece, she is a powerful unit that's able to move in multiple directions because of her ✨Telewarp✨ability.

For a pawn to become queen, they must reach the enemy line but we know what happened when she tried to earn back her rank.👀 A queen's starting tile should match what she wears but it's a white tile here which, along with the fallen black crown, shows her change in allegiance.😉

Also, Rindo is like a King piece because he moves one tile at a time but is a critical unit to their enemy's victory. 👉👈 Fret puts the bi in bishop (jk) bc Bishops move diagonally but can only stay within the color they start with. The diagonal makes him reach out to people more easily but also avoid topics that aren't his color. (wink wonk) Nagi and Sho are much like Knights because of their unconventional approaches to things like a Knight's L movement but make them flexible as a result. I see Neku and Beat as Rooks for being veteran Players. Rooks also have this move called Castling which allows the King to move 2 spaces in order to reach them &be protected. The catch is that neither Rook or King have made any move or the tile the King will be on should be safe.

Now he oversees the destruction of the city himself. He has created a Soul Pulvis in the shape of a swallow for company. He shows himself to Rindos from other timelines in the hopes of being defeated but the Noise possessing forces him to put up a fight.
