FIRST OF ALL i was right that they did perform all the new songs off the as-yet-unreleased-at-the-time ep which is now out, i predicted that correctly as well

BUT i also wondered if there would be official recordings or like a dvd AND YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHAT JUST DROPPED ON THE OFFICIAL CHANNEL??????

i was wrong btw it was no less than THREE brand-new original never-before-seen routines. and also i somehow literally hallucinated the murder she wrote/adderall part, he straight up did not do that. LMAO

quick summary of wing highlights from kbc btw:

he looked very nice 😔 i'll put pics up later

he was very serious all night but clearly also having the time of his life at the same time, and said as much, it was VERY cute

during the battles, he got super excited several times during several highlights including but not limited to 1) owngyu v huckle (owngyu was my mvp of the night tbh) and 2) steady v huckle (steady fought like HELL that round and the trash talk was mighty-level, legendary) and also 3) cardio v jack (classic matchup, just impossible not to enjoy)

at one point wing said, i just want you all to know, as much fun as i'm sure all of you are having, you should know i'm sitting up here as a fan of beatboxing for-- how many years has it been? sixteen? as a fan of beatboxing for sixteen years however much you are enjoying this right now, i have been following everyone here over the years and there is no bigger fan in this room than me.

when it came time for the showcase wing said among other things:

i usually dont go around with a humidifier all the time in summer because the weather usually isnt all that dry and it isnt a problem, but last week in ulsan i realized actually since in summer you have the ac running constantly, it's actually *extremely* dry and bc of that my vibration bass is not in good condition today. so, i'm not going to do dopamine this time, because it features vibration bass

(cue disappointment from the crowd)

wing: okay, listen, cmon now. i doubt there is anyone in this room who hasnt already heard me do dopamine at least once. seriously. raise your hand if youve never heard dopamine. (*a small but sus number of hands go up*) wing: 🤨

(he did do snippets of dopamine right at the beginning, and at the very end of his showcase set, he worked in the dnb remix to finish off)

he also did murder she wrote into adderall just like at uplounge, and he sounded amazing

wing performed at least 2 whole entire brand new, never-before-seen routines, they were both incredible. i literally cannot believe how much new material we've heard from wing lately when gbb is just around the corner

from his vantage point backstage, cardio recorded a snippet of wing's showcase and posted to his story with the caption "wing is my girlfriend" (in english) (he was killing it, it was hot, cant say i disagree 🤷)

cardio later posted a recap photodump on ig proper. wing commented "i'm not your girlfriend." cardio commented back "fake" (SCREAM)

during the winner's ceremony when jack won, wing hugged him when he handed over the winner's plaque and it was the cutest shit i've ever seen he looked exactly like a proud father lmao

then he left Jack to celebrate with his other bros, and spent a long minute congratulating huckle on his 2nd place win. idk what he said exactly since it was off mic but it was clearly super sincere and sweet, based on how huckle reacted. he honestly looked kinda misty eyed imo. no way to know for sure of course but wing was definitely speaking very seriously into huckle's ear for longer than it takes to say a simple "good job" and it was very sweet

but MBC was apparently there on stage to film kbc this year!!! that's CRAZY and also so extremely super cool 🥹
