Elsewhere in paradox space, we examine a looming gothic palace, nestled deep in the icy north of Alternia. It just so happens, somewhere in this castles sits the Fuchsiablood heir to Alternia, Hadeis Rusour.

This was a drawing I did for @howlingheretic, and it was an absolute blast to make. I’m kind of proud of this one honestly, and I’m glad I had the opportunity to draw for him and his OCs!

AAAAGGHGH!! blast attack...

1: Siniix is actually pretty agile. Her tail helps her balance while running and she's used to climbing from scaling the crow's nest on Justicia's ship.

2: Mioshi's lusus is a lioness that she cuddles with when she sleeps

3: Siette likes anime! She watched magical girl shows with Odette when she was in the hospital sometimes.

4: Annie and Siniix used to drink tea and talk about books together, until Annie helped Siette find where Siniix lived(ish).

5: Samara was sort of a jock before she died. She was on the rugby team at her and Daimon's university and she worked out a lot

6: Toxmia's favorite genre of music is classical

7: Justicia gets to have glimpses of Siniix's life in the present day through a mirror in her dream bubble. She doesn't get to control when she sees something, but usually what it shows her is something that would upset her, like Siniix being hurt, abandoned, and/or scared.

it's been mentioned before, but sigurd is a Big Guy. unfortunately he also kinda has large lapdog syndrome. if he likes you he WILL squish you

another fact is that his boat is kind of a studio apartment? it's got an odd layout I've been meaning to draft, but basically it's large bedroom > open kitchen > bathroom v stairs to the lower deck < storage closets for materials and supplies < his forge

he did not want the living quarters and the forge on the same level out of caution for carbon monoxide poisoning. the forge level has a chimney that bypasses the living quarters to safely remove any smoke. sigurd is huge safety nut despite all appearances

we're just about $150 short of paying mortgage this month, which is a funny coincidence, because that's how much our car insurance i just paid was.

many vriska serket character comparisons are extremely out of touch w vriskas character bcs ppl forget two major components to what makes a vriska a vriska

1) has to desperately want to be the hero of the story by any means, and she has to WANT to be good; even if she doesnt have the capacity or the knowhow. "evil woman that does fucked up things with no remorse" is not a vriska because a key component of vriskas character is the intense remorse and guilt she feels for doing awful things that feel entirely out of her control.

and 2) she has to be a woman. that dude character ur calling a vriska is not a vriska because misogyny towards a vriska in fandom spaces specifically is what makes a vriska (vriska). male characters doing the same/worse things are praised and lauded as "misunderstood" while a vriska is widely hated for the same if not lesser things. he is not a vriska he is just some dude.
