We don't update this like we should...

So over time, along the way, we've realized how blessed we are to have these songs and this band. The songs are more than just music and lyrics- but a binding force for a group of guys that decided making music was pretty vital to their sanity. It helps that our drummer makes us laugh so hard our face hurts. But more on him later. The point I guess we need to clarify here is that we are thankful for these songs and the friendship it's helped blossom over the last year or so. Here is a quick update on True North (STL): 1. We want to congratulate Patrick on the birth of his 2nd son this week. His amazing family, amazing kids, and super supportive wife make us happy to have such a talented guy in our group of goons. Without him we wouldn't have a clue what Dr. Who was. 2. Secondly, congrats to Chris (said drummer) and his new fiancé Lydia. They are engaged to be married and we couldn't be happier to see two hilarious, loving, genuine folks create a unified front of straight up radness. (Spargle!) 3. Steve- thanks to this guy we have more time to record new music and because of his infinite knowledge and patience we can get it right and make sure it's what we want to share. Also thanks to his amazing boots. That about rounds out the latest. We have started to track new music and once we finish we'll send it over to producer/engineer genius Dan Chilton for final touches. 3 new songs, done DIY, and hopefully makes people smile and tap their feet like they've done for us. We'll start playing shows again soon- we just have to survive this Polar Vortex. Baseball, Adam/True North

We pulled into Springfield on 11/1/13 and met with Matty O from Zero Youth. Went upstairs at Lindbergs off Commercial Street and played through a new tune. No mics, no electric, just banjo, acoustic, Chris playing a trash can, and hollerin'. 

Hope to record this one soon for an EP or Split.
