Prologue Event Summary (2/2)
It starts with a warm gentle breeze that moves its way through your hair, letting you know that you’re… outside? Can that be right? There’s certainly dirt beneath you and a thick forest almost surrounding you.
There are others with you… Who are they? With nothing more to go on you rise to your feet to better inspect everything and everyone around you. There’s a feeling that you shouldn’t move too far from this place – wherever it might be.
The last thing you remember… Weren’t you just accepted into Hope’s Peak Academy? Maybe the journey wasn’t too far from where you were recruited from or maybe it was, but you do remember that there was no need for you to be where you are now. If you check your pockets or bags, you’ll find what you usually carry. However, you no longer have your cell phone or any other sort of communication devices. How strange.
This is the beginning of your new journey…
But you remember, don't you? The last thing you saw was her die right? Right?!
Everyone was back to where they began... Even Jane Doe herself. There was no wound on her; no blood on her or the others who tried to help her. Obviously shaken up, the cast tried to figure out just what they had witnessed. What had happened? What was going on? Different theories began to emerge. The bickering, the yelling, the anxieties all around were helping no one. In the end, they knew they needed to seek out more information.
Suishouryuu volunteers to investigate the scene of the crime to determine what was real and what was not. He felt up the stairs and the group continued to try and discuss what had happened. Not only that, but they had a new mystery on their hands. Or rather... around their wrists. Each student had woken up with a bracelet on them securely. It seemed to be made of metal. None of them were originally wearing it but now they all had one.
Eventually, they too followed him. It was best if they were all together, right? At least they could confirm with their own eyes. When they arrived at the shrine, they found The Judge, cleaning the area around a pool of blood. Suishouryuu explained that despite his efforts to get The Judge to talk, he just wouldn’t.
The group bombarded the figure with questions but others tried to keep everyone away from him. They were all too aware of his power now. Despite their yelling and their questions, he does not pay them any attention. Two in the group, Momoko and Hanako, become more aggressive and begin demanding answers from him. One of the shier members, Timber, stood at the front and tried to keep the others calm.
The Judge turned his attention to Timber and approached him.
"You shall receive... You shall take... You shall share... You shall give..."
The Judge held out his hand to Timber who shakily raised his own. In Timber’s hands, a stack of student IDs were placed.
"For the Sinners and the Saints... This is what you seek. Redemption. Damnation. Even Sinners and Saints possess an identity."
Timber, terrified of the figure in front of him, took the IDs.
The Judge doesn't move from his spot put picks his head up to face the group properly. He raises his staff before tapping it back on the ground.
In the distance, you can hear something... very loud. It sounds like gates opening.
"Who are the Sinners? Who are the Saints? Is there a difference? When your blood is spilled, the land shall be fed... When you spill blood, the land shall be fed... These are the laws of Shimizumori. It is your beginning. It is your end."
With the gates now opened, the cast can now begin to explore and freely interact with one another.

Prologue Event Summary (1/2)
(cw: fog, danganronpa blood, implied neck trauma, death, vaguely religious talk, passing out, faceless entity/being)
After waking up in a mysterious clearing, surrounded by forest, the cast finds themselves... Somewhere. They can at least determine that they’re in Japan. While some of the shier ones in the cast decided to pretend to sleep or ignore the others, a lot of the more rowdy or social of the bunch began to talk to each other, at each other, and over each other!
They at least came to the conclusion that they were all students of Hope’s Peak Academy. In fact, they were just beginning their school years. They knew that they were in some sort of forest... but way? A few theorized it must have been the school’s attempt at some sort of retreat. However, they soon discover that they are all missing their communication devices.
With no way to contact help, the cast decides to ascend the ominous and very lengthy stairway that’s near them. Banter and bickering as they climb each step. Some of the more athletic of the group have to help carry those who tire quickly. It seems as though, one way or another, everyone is able to make it up the steps!
When they finally make it to the shrine that sits at the very top, they find that they cannot see past the fog to get a good guess at how large the forest is that surrounds them. Some want to travel into the fog to look for anyone or anything that may be there. They hear a confusing, echoing bell that chimes from a direction they cannot determine. The fog that surrounds them grows thicker and it seems to freeze them in place with fear, worry, confusion, excitement, anticipation -- anything really!
From the fog emerges a figure.
The figure calls himself “The Judge” and looms at an intimidating 9ft.
"Sinners, saints. I welcome you to your redemption and to your damnation. I did not call for you. But something did. Something brought you to these accursed grounds."
He greets them with vague words. The group has different reactions. From shock, to fear, to growing anger... Some even pleasantly greet them. No matter how many times they speak to him or ask him question, The Judge only says what he wants to.
They asked who/what he was and where they were.
"I am The Judge. In title, in name, in spirit. I look over this cursed town. It's lone caretaker. Protector. Guardian."
He pauses.
"To have been brought here... what must you have done? To be in this town where luck was born and died...?"
They press for more! Some are angrier with his response. Despite this, some move closer to inspect him.
"If you are brought here, you must stay. A sinner cannot leave without redemption. A saint cannot leave without damnation. That is how this land works. The accursed village. Shimizumori, The birthplace of despair. Sinners... Saints... you have come to join me here."
"May you be like that corrupted luck. To be born and to die here."
This confusion talk about redemption, damnation, sinners, and saints is too much for Morihiro Miura. The video editor attacks The Judge, punching him solidly in where he assumes his body is.
The Judge takes the attack but doesn’t flinch or move.
"A Sinner... A Saint... The rules are still the same. In the birthplace of despair, none shall be spared."
He raises his hand before bringing it down quickly and harming one of the students closest to him: Jane Doe.
The classes reactions are mixed but most rush to Jane’s side. They try their best to help her but... they discover too quickly that she is dead. Emotions are up in the air. Some are still, hopelessly, trying to help Jane while bickering and in fighting continues.
"Is that the fate of this land? For blood to rain from the heavens. Sinners... Saints... I will not weep for your mistakes."
The Judge finally moves to the body, now closer to the group. There are some still shouting and other crying. Some are oddly peaceful and still trying to do all they can to keep that peace.
"Try. You must try... Sinners... Saints... You all must try."
They question his motivations or why he wanted to hurt Jane in the first place.
"I desire not. I need not. I am not."
He continues to loom over the group.
"Do you understand now, Sinners and Saints? Do you understand this land... For Hope... For Despair... For Luck... Do you understand?"
His questions seem to do nothing but make the group more upset as they each react in their own ways.
"Despair... Hope... Luck... Understand that, Sinners and Saints."
His voice is easy in the chaos. He seems to glide through the crowd. He stops at the foot of Jane Doe's corpse.
"Sinners... Saints... What will you do to these lands? Will you continue to feed it the blood it thrives upon? Will you be the sacrifice it takes? Sinners... Saints... Let us wait..."
"Blood has been spilled too early."
Despite their reactions, he moves to push Jane's mask back to cover her face. How he even got here to them so fast, so noiselessly is anyone's guess.
"A chance... A chance for the sinners and the saints. That is what I will give. That is what you shall receive."
He rises to his full figure and raises his staff.
THE BELLS CHIME.
It's weird, but despite the adrenaline rushing through your veins you... Feel heavy. Close your eyes. You'll feel better once you close your eyes.
The last thing you hear is the staff tapping against the ground and the sound of bells.

The Monorail
Monorail • ˈmɒnə(ʊ)reɪl • noun • A railway in which the track consists of a single rail, typically elevated and with the trains suspended from it.
“Have you ever felt like the world was moving faster than you; that if we go too fast, we miss all the beauty of our surroundings and in ourselves? For that reason, I believe that the mentality of the tortoise was always more wise. In the story my mother always told me, the hare passed away at the end and death is the last thing we want in life, they’re complete binary opposites… aren’t they? We need time to find ourselves in this world, to find our purpose and that certainly isn’t something to rush. Perhaps, the moral of that story has been lost over time and maybe it was for the greater good…”
The Monorail is a Danganronpa oc roleplay set in the far future of 3021, taking place on a futuristic train, called The Monorail, that traverses across the world. Talents have become hereditary, everyone now having a talent which is a combination of their parent’s own talents. The Monorail train has selected 16 (not including mods) outstanding individuals who have used their talent to better society to join it on their journey around the world.

The city of Lilium, little more than a rumor. It’s always a whisper among your peers, but no one seems to have reached this mythical place. They say that there, you can gain knowledge to reach the very stars. Rumors also speak of the endless amount of gold and treasures hidden beneath the city. They say that the people worship a sleeping goddess, whose blood is said to be the Spring of Youth itself, able to heal all injuries and grant immortality. Most intriguing, however, is their prophecy that the one who would wake this goddess would be given their innermost wishes.
You are a mage, and you have been invited to a dangerous game with several others that claims to take place in this mysterious city. Heeding this invitation comes with the knowledge that you might lose your life. For what will you take this chance? Its promise of many rich rewards? The power to grasp at the truth? Or the chance to grant your wish?
Welcome to Lilium Lies, an 18+ original character roleplay in a similar flavor to the Dangan Ronpa OC formula. This is a mutual killing rp game based in tumblr and discord, featuring skill/magic-based investigations and submission-based trials. Set in the early 19th century, your character is a mage invited to a game in the mysterious city of Lilium. Whatever their reasons, they have come here willingly, aware that they may lose their very lives in pursuit of these goals.

“Greetings.”
“Your arrival has been heralded for some time. Indeed, this is the chance you are looking for, the chance to find the answers to your existence’s greatest questions within a town lying deep in the woods.”
“Confused? Do not despair. It will not linger for long. Let me start at the beginning…”
A mysterious letter in the mail, an invitation from a town decaying deep in the Louisiana wilderness. Perhaps it seems minor, but something about it draws you there - a vague memory, a past, unknown connection, a rumor, sheer curiosity.
And so, you find yourself traveling, waiting to meet the author of the letter. You’re given the best welcome possible, but when there, you find that the truth is just what it seems - a town trapped perpetually in a time vortex, with one foot perpetually in the grave.
What’s more, you seem to be unable to leave unless you bend to the whims of the one who brought you here… whose intentions are quite literally murderous.
[ Welcome to Wilderdale. We hope you’ll enjoy your stay. ]
____________
Wilderdale is a submission-based Mutual Killing roleplay group, taking inspiration from Dangan Ronpa with supernatural and folk horror elements in addition to an adult cast. It will have a heavy focus on investigation and exploration mechanics and a flexible schedule - with groups of students investigating the setting and completing quests for NPCs around the town to learn more about the mystery behind Wilderdale and discover their true purpose for being there.
We will be accepting between 14 and 20 characters of both a mundane and supernatural nature.
Applications close February 1st, 2020.

And that’s it!
Once again, I’d like to thank everyone who applied to our group! Honestly, we’re super blown away by the response and interest. We have so many good apps so we know roster decisions will not at all be easy. Please know that if we had the space, we’d accept just about everyone since that’s how good your apps are! Unfortunately, we can’t but I’d like to take this time to say that if you did not get accepted, rarely is it the case that your oc was bad. A lot goes into roster decisions and even really good apps don’t make it. Be proud of what you did! If you’re new to the scene, don’t worry about this first rejection. There are plenty of groups out there as well for you so keep trying!!
Since we have so many apps, it’s going to take awhile for us to read and sort through everything. Once we have a day set for roster drop, we’ll let you know. We do ask that no one DMs the mods to ask why they didn’t get in. We will not be doing app reviews but please know it’s nothing person or against you if you did not get in.
Lastly, I’d like to once again thank everyone for their interest in Tsumi no Mori. This is my first time running a game and I’m blown away but all your support! Prim is just as excited as I am about all of this and all of your hard work!
Best of luck to everyone!!
Final count: 68 player apps; 52 unique muns

Last-Last Day!
Heyo everyone! This will be the last day to turn in apps (if you have an extension). Please make sure to either dm the judge account on discord ( thejudge#2170 - preferred method), contact either of the mods, or use the submit box to turn in your apps. All apps are due by Dec 21st, 11:59PM CST. Of course if you’re a few minutes late, no biggie! Just try your best to be punctual please!! We’ll be doing our best to keep the hopefuls list on the tumblr as well as the discord server updated as we receive apps.
Another announcement is that we will be deleting the hopefuls server an hour before roster reveal. As of now there is no set date/time for when we will be announcing the roster, but we will try our best to have it done in a timely manner. The next announcement from this blog will more than likely be about when we will have our roster drop. Roster announcement will be done here on the tumblr blog and muns who have be selected will be messaged on discord by the judge account. As of now, we have no intentions of having spectators but will be using the blog to keep plot relevant posts and whatnot here so you can follow along through that method.
Happy last 24hrs of apping and good luck everyone!

With the deadline only a week away, we wanted to announce that we will be offering extensions for those interested in applying but feel as though they still need more time.
