I don't really like being too personal on this blog, Just post whatever drawing I feel is good enough.

But in all honesty, it's kinda nice to write and discuss stuff from time to time. Sadly it just so happened to be something negative this time around.

Maybe next time I'll post about something more positive ~

As somebody who isn’t really into One Piece, I gotta say that I feel your pain about the Nika situation. A similar thing happened in Naruto with him and his rival Sasuke being revealed to be reincarnations of Ninja Buddha’s two sons whose blood feud drove most of the conflict in-universe for hundreds or thousands of years. I didn’t much like that, so I can imagine why you wouldn’t like Nika.

Yeah, I heard about that. I stopped reading Naruto around the war Arc so I don't really know all the details, but it really seemed like a weird way to end it.

(I even heard somewhere that it wasn't Kishimoto's original idea.)

Being an underdog is way more interesting than being a god. Luffy took something basic and made it great! Being creative with the limitations of his fruit, pushing it to his limit. Now he just does whatever.

Same with Naruto. He took a what was basically a Curse and turned it into a gift. But no, he was actually just ninja Jesus all along...

There were no hints, no build up. No foreshadowing what so ever... It's just like 'sike! He was the most powerful all along!'

I just hate reckons that ruin something that has been established for so long only to take a sudden turn to something completely different. (Nika gave me whiplash with how out of nowhere it came for example...)

I'm not gonna hold it against anyone who likes the changes, but I see no reason to get angry with someone else about it..

I mean, whether you're hating or not, it's your blog lmao, you can do what you want. Tumblr makes it really easy to block people so they should really be doing that instead of complaining in asks lmao

That said, I personally quite like the whole joyboy aspect of the Nika fruit. And I do think that it's the natural progression of the rubber fruit.

Also that it had been set up for most of the series in subtle ways slowly growing less and less subtle as the Surrey went on

Plus, failing all that, it's a lot of fun lol.

That said, you're completely entitled to your own opinion and I'm not gonna come out hating for it. At most just debate or pose a counter to your argument

Of course it makes me feel a little attacked... Like my opinions are wrong... But I try to not let it get to me too much.

I just don't want people to be angry with people in general. I was raised on treating people, like you want to be treated, so It's not like I wanna go out of my way to make people angry... But sometimes I do it by accident.

I can't stress enough! If you don't like my drawings or the opinions I have for an anime. Please, you can just block me or not take it to personnel.

I'm so sick and tired of people complaining that Luffy having athe Nika fruit is bad! It's perfect for him! He wants to be free and creative! And Nika gives him more freedom than ever! Now he's not limited by just being rubber. Luffy's always been a hero for people! Now it's just more in focus of the story! Nika has been foreshadowed since Skypea, and there's so many hints that he was more than just a rubber man! Just look at gear 3 and 4!

You're just hating! One piece is Just as good now as before Nika!

Couldn't I just say the opposite and be just as justified with my own opinion?

I'm not hating, I'm just being critical of something I've spent a bigger part of my life reading. If you truly like something, you can criticize it because you know it can be better. I just don't want to accept everything that's thrown my way just because it's something that I like...

I don't think it fits Luffy at all, and I think limiting him makes him more creative. Limitations usually lead to creativity. If you could just do anything you like with just a snap of a finger, then it's about as creative as AI art...

And sorry, but Nika hasn't been foreshadowed at all until Who's who talked about it. (The thing on Skypea was the snake, nothing else...)

I'm glad you like Nika, but One piece is never gonna be the same for me... Sorry...

Hmmm. There's probably a lot, but I can't really think of a specific one at the moment.

But I will say that I have a really hard time starting a new anime nowadays... So sadly I don't watch as much as I'd like... 🥲

Almost exactly 1 year ago, a friend of mine disappeared from the internet completely... and truth to be told... I'm worried about her...

She's gone by many names during my time here, but I'm gona keep her anonymous, mostly because I don't think she would want to be associated with me since she was a legit talented artist while i just draw naked girls...

She was basically the only reason I started using tumblr in the first place because her art inspired me at a low point in my life, And one of the few, if not only online friends I ever spoke too. This site just isn't the same without her... atleast for me.

So I guess all I wanna say is... I know you had your own problems and struggled alot yourself... so I'm hoping your doing the healthiest thing possible, and is just taking a break from social media or the internet in general...

While I fear the worst, I hope for the best. I don't know where you are, or what you're doing... but I hope you're doing well.

So If you for some reason happened to read this, just know that I miss talking to you and miss seeing your art
